Just organised a 50th birthday party and it was the absolute best evening! Food was just insane and the service outstanding! Massive thank you for making the night so memorable. We all agreed we would walk over hot coals to have the pecan chocolate tart again. Xox

Thank you Samantha and Gavin for this lovely experience! Samantha was very attentive, service was good and her descriptions of the food and wine pairing were on point👌 which really made the full experience. The full wine flight pairing was perfect with the 5 course tasting menu that we took. The atmosphere was very cosy and nice. And the homemade bread was amazing!! (Forgot to take photos of all the food🙈 but it was💣)

EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTING EXPERIENCE.My partner and I were excited to taste what was described online as the best restaurant in Lincoln but that wasn't the outcome experienced. Setting was warm and cosy until a fire brick was lit in its packaging, creating an acrid smell in the room. The service was poor, mistakes were made with the wine and all meals too an age to arrive, the bill also took 40 minutes to arrive.Starters and appetisers were good, not exceptional with distinct lack of depth but acceptable. The mains dishes were the main basis for this review. They lacked any depth and variety of flavour making for a bland and average experience. To add to this we had to send one dish back due to meat being cold, this was replaced with another dish which bared the same qualities. When you are paying over £30 for a dish you expect for strong, complicated and distinct flavours, potentially to a level which you have not tasted before but this left a sour taste in our mouths to say the least. When confronting the manager/owner she acknowledged our comments, did not apologise or make any concessions to the bill. I would not recommend you spend your money here if you value quality cooking.

First experience of the Jews House and a very good one. Excellent cooking and attentive staff. Great to see a cheese board listed on the menu. Definitely returning.

Absolutely stunning, an amazing experience, the food is superb and the wine was excellent, cannot praise them enough and although it was our first visit it definitely won't be our last.

Where is the michelin star?Every time we go here the food is amazing. The service is exceptional. Fantastic. Yes, it's pricey but it's worth the cost. Never once left thinking "that was expensive", always just thought "what a superb evening" and that's exactly how it should be.Nice one Jew's House.

Had the taster menu on Saturday evening. This restaurant is really first class. Staff are excellent, full of enthusiasm and knowledge. Food and wine are top quality and beautifully presented.

Very experimental cuisine at high price level Excellent Service. The tasting Menu contains dishes Like pork Belly with apricot Sorbet which exceeded my scope of taste. Others dishes Well prepared and served. Historic Building with nice Ambiente.

Small, intimate, high-end restaurant set in a wonderfully characterful old property halfway up the hill in Lincoln. Offers a la carte dining and a 5-course tasting menu with wine pairings. Exceptionally friendly staff. We tried the tasting menu and while two dishes were excellent, there were several noticeable blips in quality (including a pancake that was clearly burnt to look at let alone taste), and overall the menu wasn't particularly imaginative. If you have the luxury of being able to go further afield, there are better experiences to be had for this price. If you're limited to Lincoln, though, I think there's nothing else that competes.
