The Modern Indian Cuisine in Lincoln

Just had probably the worst takeaway that we have had there was no taste to anything and everything was anemic all meat was dry absolutely awefull

Tonight we had a family meal in the restaurant and the food was truly exceptional, the waiter who served us was amazingly friendly and treated us like we were royalty. This is the first time we have ever been to this establishment and I can guarantee it won't be the last.I congratulate the chef of fine food and thank everybody for their efforts.Well done everybody, see you again soon.

We were visiting Lincoln and fancied a curry. The food was nice and the service was pleasant

Me and wife had takeaway and it very nice and good diver was very friendly and food was excellent and very hot when delverd the foods that good second to the castle view we are having a takeaway tonight with the family me and wife had takeaway and it not nice on Friday night don't know what went wrong from previously

Food arrived on time and driver was very friendly. The food was unfortunately very disappointing, only just about warm and naan breads were tough. The lamb bhuna, masala, onion bhajis and saag aloo were flavourless.Perfectly edible but disappointingly bland.Would probably not order from here again.

Ordered a take out for the first time from this restaurant as we were looking for a new favorite indian. The food was great and the staff very polite so this will now become our regular Indian treat. Highly recommended

We have been a customer of The Modern for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. Both as a takeaway and to eat in. I have tried others and none compare. I am particularly fussy and they accommodate my wishes no problem.

Great Indian. Real chunky bits of meat and the best taste ever. Slight wait but definitely worth the wait. Would definitely recommend and will be ordering again soon

Spent over £40 on home delivery meal for the family. Advised 1 hour, actually took 1hr 45 minutes! Called twice to chase meal. Offered discount on NEXT order. Meal was not hot on arrival. Although tasty, a very disappointing experience which I will not repeat.

This restaurant has been great up to the last 2 meals I've had, I've only ever used this for takeaways and it used to always be spot on until recently, the chicken hasn't been good at all, very tough and tasted strange compared to other places I've ordered chicken meals from. My last 2 takeaways have both tasted bad, I think it maybe time for a change or restaurant.
