Booked dedicated delivery for 7. To 7.30pm never arrived until 10 past 8. Then it was cold and nasty.Called to be told it was hot when we sent it.Did not apologise or offer discount or nybthing.Chucked the food innth bin...No more from me

The food here is really nice, probably best or the close second Chinese in Lincoln in my opinion. The price is reasonable for the price too

We ordered food from ‘the place’ tonight with a delivery time of 8.30. When we first ordered it said roughly an hours wait. Once we paid it jumped to 2 hours. We understood it must be busy and accepted that. 8.30 came and still no food. I waited until 9.00 and phoned them numerous of times but the phone was unplugged. We then got an update via just eat and said it has been delayed until 9.30! This is now getting to the point where it’s getting beyond a joke. 10pm arrives and they cancel our order! What a waste of 3 and a half hours! I will never be ordering food here and hope people read this.I wish I could give them lower then 1 star! AVOID! Happy new year 🔫

The foods are plentiful (3 course), well presented & freshly cooked. However the buffet is more personal, being with friends, having noodles & 2 mains myself, being dearer than open buffets. Good value for presentation & quantity. I didn't get to try friends' choices of dishes, along with mine. Friendly & helpful staff was good too

Tasty food and reasonably priced!

The food is really nice, portions are fairly decent and it has good prices. In short, totally recommended if you like Chinese food.

They have the best Mala beef noodles, Ive always craved it as I go to China once every 2 years so I can rarely have it but I'm so happy this place sells it!

Wonderful Chinese all you can eat menu !!!! Yes I did say menu they come see you and you order from it all fresh cooked for you and they will cook more till you are full plus they have another full menu as well lots of different dishes that you normally do not see plus a wide variety of different soft drinks well worth going

Generous portion sizes, savoury food, and enough to feed more than 2 despite us ordering the special set meal for two.Food:Sesame Prawn on toast - Something even I as a Chinese never knew existed. The toast was slightly hard, but the prawn paste was generous.Prawn crackers - Generous portion, enough for two meals, super crunchy and lightly fried, making it a really mouthwatering appetizer.Chicken Chop Suey - Chop suey seems to be a dish unique to the UK/Europe. We don't have it in Singapore, but it was a good dish, filling, stuffed to the brim with ingredients, and savoury. Chicken was done well, not too dry and stringy.Beef with Mushrooms - Amazing, tender beef, stir fried and slathered in strong savoury sauce with lots of mushrooms. A must try.Egg fried rice (large) - Rice was done just right, not sticky, not dry. Ample fried eggs and fried rice was evenly fried.Price:GBP 14.5/2paxService:We called in to order and pick up. Payment is at the restaurant. I believe they cook the rest after you pay, as I had to wait 20 mins after the time I was told I could pick the food up at.Location:Strategically located along high street, easy access to the restaurant.Would I recommend?Yes. We decided to try The Place rather than one of the other all you can eat Chinese restaurants in lincoln and were so happy we did. The food was amazing, some of the best Chinese food we've ever had (and we've been to China!!) the service was fast, and the staff were super friendly and helpful, it appeared to be a family run restaurant which is even nicer. Seriously couldn't recommend this place enough, outstanding!
