White swan public house in Lincoln

1 star food hygiene. I saw two rats in the building. 90% of food seems microwaved. Steaks were not cooked to liking. Chips are cooked well and are tasty but you can tell that the oil is not changed anywhere near often enough. The building is uncomfortable and needs desperate refurbishing. Only good thing about this place is the very polite waiter we had that evening, he made the outing as enjoyable as possible with the poor quality of everything else there. Definitely avoid at all cost!

The food here's Mind Blowing . . . I got Served, 4 Large thick cut slices of Beef, (with home made Onion gravy) dense buttery, Creamy, lightly salted ,mashed Potato, & pea's . . blew me mind - Totally Delicious (5 Star) . . .. you then get a a Extra Gravy pot on top . . .the Home made stuff

Good food and ale, a great little pub

Been today in a party of 8 for Sunday lunch. Absolutely brilliant the food is Hot, well cooked and plentiful in my opinion the best Sunday lunch for miles around the service is great and excellent value. Will definitely be returning to tackle a mixed grill 😉 thanks to all involved really enjoyed it. 👍

Best sunday roast while visiting my Dad. Can highly recommend the food in this pub to anyone.

We ate here last night. And the food was amazing, the chicken & Leek pie I had was something Desparate Dan would struggle with! And the Home made chips are to die for! First class all round

We went with friends to the White Swan the food and service was excellent. Our friends had not been there before, we had that's why we wanted to go again. Both visits were excellent, will definitely be going again and would recommend The White Swan at Torksey to everyone.

Friendly staff, excellent place to stop for a quick coffee ☕ or beverage.

It's a proper pub with real homemade food. You might wait for it a bit longer but it's worth it to get real home cooked food not bought from a mass caterer (eg. The Mushy peas are soaked and boiled properly). Julie and Paul are great.
