"It's great to be back! Thank you for your ongoing support over the last year. A few things to consider before you visit: Booking is not essential, though we would recommend you book in advance. Outdoor service is limited to guests in groups of six or two households (no limit on number) is permitted. Please note we may need to vary our opening hours and food service times given the time of year and the unpredictable nature of our Great British weather! Track and trace requirements have changed meaning all guests over 16 years of age must check in and provide their contact details. Unfortunately we must refuse service if guests do not comply. Lovely little pub. We have a Monday night pool team and they are extremely accommodating. Always a fabulous atmosphere. Landlord and land lady are fabulous hosts, and always make the effort to speak to the customers. Great little pub

Lovely gaff, manager wench is groovy, management are pretty awesome, cracking grub and the locals are the most amazing bunch of misfits I’ve ever wenched for! Oops I’m the manger wench! 😂😂

Fantastic, 'real traditional' pub. Sophie and Dave are accommodating hosts, with a fab sense of humour. Reasonably priced drinks, home made cheesecake to die for. Pub steeped in history. Really recommend. Great place to avoid the crowds. Thanks Sophie and Dave. Trish and Wendy x

Great little pub. Locals are very friendly and welcoming. Bar staff extremely polite and friendly too. Always greeting customers when entering and smiling, catching customers when they leave to say thank you.Tried the amazing cheesecake today, wow!! What can I say. It was delicious. Cannot wait for next weeks flavour. The chef and landlord (Dave) is very pleasant and is very knowledgeable regarding his products and also knows the history of the pub.Looking for a good pub to eat/ drink and socialise, then the witch is the place to go.Landlady is lovely and very welcoming to customers regulars or passers by.What a lovely pub you have

Wonderful little place, great atmosphere, friendly traditional pub. Food was fantastic, the burger was the best I've had! Don't expect a plastic paradise just a real proper pub. Please move to Louth!

Great little proper pub with a Riverside location in the city centre. Very reasonable prices and a good atmosphere . The bar staff are pleasant and mine hosts Dave and Sophie ensure you have a good visit.

Coming from Sheffield as a birthday treat, my o/h brought me to Witch & Wardrobe. Upon entering we were greeted by a lovely barmaid. Very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was a decent, proper pub atmosphere. Nothing like the new kind of wine bars.My only disappointment was there was no chef, so no food. I'd love to return at some point though

Fantastic pub, great beer, beautiful garden and most importantly, affordable pool table. Beers are cheap, this place is NOT rough. Close to town but out of town. Nice and quiet, loads of events. By the Riverside. Miss it at your peril

Great little local pub. Staff were great, helpful and friendly. Customers were friendly and welcoming. Lovely warm atmosphere.If you're wanting a slick, posh, and polished experience, you might be disappointed. Want a cheerful local pub, this is the place.
