4 star service unfortunately mediocre food.I had the crispy calamari to start and the steak with garlic sauce as a main and ordered a truffle side salad. There wasn't really any calamari inside the batter and it was cold. The batter shattered when trying to pierce it and some pieces of calamari were smaller than 1cm! On top of that it was rubbery. In terms of the main the meat itself was a good cut but the trimmings let the rest of the dish down. The steak was served on a sour dough which had gone soggy. The garlic sauce was very oily and didn't really taste of garlic. The wilted spinach and mushrooms provided no extra flavour or taste to the dish. The chips were fine but again nothing special. The side salad with truffle dressing was an abomination. It was wilted and portions of it were warm or cold as if extra had been added recently from a fridge. The dressing was really vinegary as if it had been opened for a long time.Perhaps I had set my expectations of the steakhouse too high? Luckily I eat there on business but if I had come out for a special meal, I would have been very disappointed. Unfortunately not a restaurant chain I'll be stepping back into if I can help it.

TERRIBLE!! Wowcher deal - £99 value sold at £49. Steak was the tiniest piece of rump you could get. Not cooked as requested, blood all over plate. When asked waitress if she could take away and return it as requested she want to ‘fork’ it off my plate and take it away leaving me with my chips and blood!! I asked her to take my plate and return it with fresh chips. The steak came back cremated and the chips reheated. YOUR CHEF CANNOT EVEN COOK A STEAK, well cooked with no pink with burning it!! Absolutely awful. Marco, you should be ashamed these things are being done in your name. Poor service, poor attention to detail and poor value for money. Never again. Marco Pierre White’s is an average restaurant purporting to be an upmarket establishment.

Lovely lovely food in here. Prices are very reasonable.Loved the ambiance in here. Mood lighting and chilled atmosphere.Service is very good.Exactly what you'd expect from an establishment such as this.

The food was lovely as were some of the staff. However the restaurant was very cold even after we asked for the heart to be turned up several times. It was also a very long time between the main course and ordering dessert. I was fairly sure I put on n the order that it was a 21st birthday but no fuss was made (i.e. 21 written on the pudding plate).

Excellent front of house, well met and good welcome. Met at restaurant and led to seats. Bread and olives taken. Not impressed with the bread, needs a selection and more butter for the table.Steak was good. Chips very good. Creamed spinach fine. Over all, the photos of Marco PS don't add anything to what is a fine but not excellent steak dinner.

Beatiful setting at the DoubleTree Hilton. Available to take a lift overlooking Brayford as you travel up to the restaurant. As you arrive, you will be greated and looked after by very friendly and attentive staff. I had a fillet steak au poivre - 10/10! That was delicious. My partner had a sirloin and really enjoyed his meal also. For starters we had a goat's cheese and beetroot salad and 1/2 a rack of ribs. Accompanied by a lovely bottle of red - perfect evening! Highly recommend.

It was me and my partners 1st anniversary and the chef Luke 100% nailed our orders on the steak medium rare and medium well done, we will definitely be coming back in the future 10/10

Floor by the side of the table was covered in food waste, didn't look like it had been cleaned from breakfast service. My starter and steak was delicious but partners meal had elements that weren't right. We were given free desserts as a compensation however I couldn't tell if the base was supposed to be pastry or biscuit as it was mush and there was a problem with partners dessert. The hotel have given us compensation as it was part of our wedding anniversary meal.

A beautiful bar, as soon as we got out of the lift, after doing the NHS track & trace we were shown to our table, and given a complimentary glass of fizz. The staff were very attentive and made us feel really welcome. The atmosphere was very relaxing and it was lovely to see the views of Brayford Wharf. Definitely worth a visit, the prices were decent too.
