Well where do I begin, the food in fairness wasn’t that bad for me (a meat eater) the hot plates looked dirty and horrendous, my lovely lady (a vegetarian) was forced to eat only the veg noodles and was given the false advertisement of meat free sushi, she went to the sushi and wanted to curl into a ball and weep. She came back disappointed, we also believe the vegetable soup was labeled incorrectly and this is shocking. Food hygiene and allergies is a serious issue and frankly you need to fix it. This place was good in my childhood but now has developed into a swamp, may as well player all star by smash mouth. Also cash payments only made us have to run around the city looking for a bank, I do not want to perform a marathon before eating.

Paid ÂŁ19.95 for all you can eat and a drink on Friday at 8pm. No food left, whatever was left had been sat for hours with inch thick skin on top. Do not recommend

If you have kids and want an all you can eat Chinese then this is the place. The service was just below standard, was waiting a good five minutes before we were seen to be seated. The selection of food was good but personally I like the taste on silver Street. Feels less like a kids play center and the decor is better.

2 stars for it being a buffet and friendly staff. This review is based on 3 visits at different times of the day and varies points through the year. Food is not great and all tastes the same there really isn’t defined flavours for each of the dishes. There isn’t a fantastic selection during daytime service. Food is not like you would get from a local takeaway. The beef in black bean today tasted like the chef had knocked a whole pot of salt into it. The pancakes for shredded pork were like cardboard and hoisin sauce was watered down like most of the other sauces in each dish. Prawn crackers tasted stale. If I’m honest I really wouldn’t recommend this place. This was my third and final visit. Sorry 3 strikes and your out.

First time back at Yo Yo for a few years. We remember it used to be about as good as you'd expect for a Chinese buffet, but now it is absolutely shocking. The place is filthy, most of the food trays were either empty, or the food in them had clearly been sat for too long. Meats were dry and chewy, anything deep fried was soft and chewy, sauces watered down, dishes congealed, noodles all clumped together and the duck pancakes genuinely looked and smelt like dog treats. Bearing in mind, this is 6.30 on a Friday evening! I counted 8 or 9 members of staff, but couldn't see that they were doing anything in particular, other than a couple of the kitchen staff who just stood at the end of the buffet chatting and giving you filthy looks whilst you collect your slop. The manager was surprisingly very sweet and polite when I complained and offered us a refund. She clearly has no idea how bad this place is. I genuinely won't be surprised if we all have the squits tomorrow.

Absolutely shocking !Food was revolting , restaurant was horrendous , not sure of the food hygiene rating but I wouldn’t have given it a 1.12 year old has has a bad tummy since leaving .Cheap supermarket value cakes cut up into tiny pieces for pudding.Chocolate fountain that tasted like water.Burnt , cheap fatty meats .Wouldn’t be surprised if the supplier wasn’t the local cat shelter .Wouldn’t have paid if they hadn’t have forced us to pay on entry !The only good part was the free tap water which was questionable from a John smiths pint glass !

Staff were friendly and helpful, answered any questions we had too, didn’t have to bookThe food was good but needed to be topped up quicker as everything was really lowThe food was also hit and miss on temperature as some dishes were hot and other warm almost cold. Some options were completely empty (baring in mind this was at 6:30pm a standard evening meal time)Pudding on the other hand was really good we enjoyed the chocolate fountains most and there was a good selection to choose from including sweets, fruit, jelly, cakes and ice creams

Absolutely fantastic I suffer with Schizophrenia, anxiety and depression unfortunately but I quietly asked if I could sit somewhere nice and relaxed and they couldn’t do enough for me. Not to mention the food was amazing. incredible in fact would 100% recommend to anyone!
