Zizzi in Lincoln

Had a booking for 1:30pm for my partner and I, we got seated quickly and granted it was busy. However I do not believe this is any excuse to be sat waiting for 25 minutes without any one coming over to us once for drinks or to start our order. At 2pm another couple got seated next to us and were then seen to within 5 minutes of arriving. Not a pleasant experience and very disappointed, will not be returning.

Service was fine. Food is fake. Its like mass produced, imitation Italian food. Poor quality, and over priced for what it is.It's as if it's bought in, microwaved or re heated. I will never go back.I give one star because the service was fine.

Had the Calzone Carne Piccante which tasted incredible along with the Bolognese chips which were so nice, never thought of that food pairing but going to try that at home. Staff were lovely and food came in good time. Can't wait to go back and work through the menu.

*Delivery Driver's Tip*This review is only for delivery service.I would recommend that you should just avoid ordering food from Zizzi / Coco di Mama ( same franchise). Not because something is wrong with the food, not at all, their meals are edible and bread is fantastic, BUT... You should only try it on site.All experienced delivery drivers are rejecting orders from there, as the waiting times averages 30+ mins (sometimes 45min+). Orders keep bouncing from driver to driver until someone inexperienced accepts it and falls in the waiting trap of Zizzi / Coco di Mama kitchens.The end result is unhappy customers and delivery service to blame. All delivery drivers with at least 1+ yr experience are laughing when they get Zizzi / Coco di Mama Kitchens orders and just cancel them. This is why you're getting your food cold. Place is not bad at all, but with the current management they are unable to cope with both dine in and delivery service.

Exceedingly disappointed with the service, went with my nephew 2 weeks ago for some lunch, ordered a pizza which to my horror took an hour to arrive and when it did it was burnt. Waiters danced around without care and I left with a very sour taste in my mouth, wouldn't recommend. Saddened by the experience won't be visiting again.

Beautiful location had brushetta and meat balls to start both great tasting and full off flavour, mains were chicken millinase and beef short rib which was amazing I love this dish! Side of loaded fries nice, No room for dessert, service from Maisie and the GM was exceptional nice friendly service!

Food excellent and staff very friendly, great atmosphere but long wait on food

came for lunch, don’t live in the area and completelymiscalculated how much time we had. the staff were so lovely and helped us box our food and take it to go and were so understanding! we will definitely be back xx

So nice to return to Lincoln's Zizzi's we love this particular restaurant, always friendly and attentive staff and the food is always cooked to perfection. We've never had a bad meal at this one-highly recommend. The Pinoli is a great pizza and so is the meat calzone (two of our go to's) I love the fact that you can ask to take out your leftover pizza so it doesnt go to waste. :)

wonderful food & service.found this place by accident as had already had a bad experience at lunch elsewhere. everywhere was clean & tidy , tables allocated to allow distancing . menus are recycled so used only once - very easy to order by scanning the qr code or table service if preferred. food arrived piping hot - the courgette frites are to die for !! staff were very attentive . pizzas were tasty as was the mushroom starter ordered as a main . desserts were well presented & yummy !
