Chand Indian Restaurant in Mansfield

I went here 2 weeks ago, there were 10 of us in the group, furstly, the service was extremely słów, we arrive at 8pm, although some if the party didn't arrive till 8.30, we didn't leave till 11pm! A few of us had starter, non of us had any dessert. The waiters were more interested in the upcoming boxing match later that night, we had to ask for more drinks, instead being attended to, and even then we didn't get the requested drinks! The food is very average, and could have been overlooked if the service had been better!I will not be returning.

Been ordering from here year’s now & haven’t had a bad meal till ordering last night , I ordered on just eat at 9.15pm got to 10.15 tried calling the restaurant , no answer finally at 10.50 my food arrived . Food was freezing , chips was hard I just put the food in the bin as was up early for work annoyed me that I had to wait up so long for such appalling food . I’ve just rang the restaurant & they did offer me 20 percent off my next order which I thought was insulting .I think I’ll order from somewhere else from now on .

Great food I lived in Leicester and London got used to great curry. In my opinion this is the best curry in Mansfield.

The food was out of this world. Having to wait an hour to get served is not so good.

Service is shocking clearly more interested in servicing the takeaway customers than those paying a premium sitting in. Will not be coming back to dine in. Got the bill wrong, over charged for drinks we didn't have and served food that wasn't fully cooked. We said they were understaffed when we paid the reply was they weren't they were just very busy with takeaways!

Great Curry house, staff friendly and attentive. Not been in a long while and pleased to say they have maintained a good curry standard.

We've been to the Chand numerous times now and the high quality food has always remained consistent. This is the first time we have eaten out since last summer (2020) and all the tables are nicely spaced out so you aren't on top of each other. We went there on a Thursday evening (30/09/2021) which is currently a good time to go if you are looking for a quiet meal out.

Great quality Indian food with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.Been using the Chand for the past 3 years and have always had a good experience.Would recommend to everyone.Keep up the good work 🙂

The waiter service was great and so was the food apart from the English dish that was ordered for my mum and the meat was very dry. We had a table of 4 booked at 6pm and our main meal arrived at 7.45, this is unusual for Chand so unsure if there was a staff shortage? I really enjoyed my meal, no doubt this was just a post lockdown glitch as I've been eating there for the longest time possibly 2004..
