Brilliant food and staff . My new local lunch place

Been a couple of times before always enjoyed however on arrival at 9:40 this morning we were greeted by a woman who shouted at us saying they have only just opened and we need to come back, shouting 'there was a large fire if you didn't know'. We realise there was a fire on hermitage Lane however at this point the fire was extinguished, she turned down myself, Partner, a man and two fire fighters. It was appalling, we understand and fully appreciate they were late getting into their buisness we just thought 2 hours after opening time we'd have been absolutely fine but there was no reason to take her stress out on a bunch of paying customers. We will not be back.

Best cafe I've been to in a long time, had the Bakers Shop breakfast which was excellent. Great menu, lovely food and drinks, good prices, polite and helpful staff. Very busy place, well worth a visit.

This place is a brilliant find. Lovely food and friendly and helpful staff. Great for breakfast, afternoon tea or just a coffee and quick snack. Hidden away but very popular presumably by word of mouth.

Absolutely a lovely place for a relaxed late lunch, even though my sister and I were very late, we were still served with, polite and happy staff, lovely atmosphere , ohh , the menu/food is delicious too.

Great cafe. Everyone is friendly and so kind. The food is of high quality and cooked to near perfection. The viennese swirls are to die for!

Been for takeaway breakfast 3 times. Order wrong 3 times. Had to return for missing items and get looked at like you are lying. Just had 2full montys. 2large bacon and sausage. Large sausage and egg plus 2 teas charged us£37.50 which seems extremely expensive compared to menu posted online. Other than that food not bad if you ever receive it

Had heard about this lovely place from a couple of people. We decided to drop in for breakfast. The cafe is nicely decorated and clean, the staff were very friendly. I had the breakfast wrap and my husband had eggs Benedict (the best he has ever had) also the drinks were hot!! We will be going back

Fantastic afternoon tea with a choice of either traditional, chocolate or savoury with sandwiches, crisps, warm sausage rolls and quiche and unlimited tea and coffee.
