Always busy & for good reason, not had a bad meal yet..

I've been coming here for a few years now and I can definitely say it's the best Chinese I've had. It's slightly out of my way but always worth it. The staff are always friendly and happy to accommodate any of your food choices.

Amazing food, polite friendly staff. The best take away I have had for years, it was delicious and the portion size was very generous.

We've always been to Golden Bridge for our Chinese takeaway anyway but the new cafe is absolutely amazing. I've never eaten so much ice cream!

It was delicious, ordered king prawn Cantonese style, beef chow mein and chicken fried rice, and a couple of side orders the portions were large, hot and very tasty.The only thing was , it said online delivery time would be 40 mins, which gave us time for our friends to arrive and organise dri ns etc. The order arrived within 15 mins, which normally would be great, but it was very early.

Food was tasteless and mainly onion. Ordered szechuan chicken, got onion soup. Not good. Used to be good years ago.

The golden bridge turned having a simple meal into a frustrating ordeal. So I ordered about 6 items, two of which were the same. Went to pick it up, got it home, the ribs were in sauce when I asked for dry, asked for 2 sweet and sour Cantonese style chickens-apparently it's Kong Kong chicken now which I've noted for next time, and instead some other stirfey chicken dish came in a sauce that can only be described as a grease liquid. No sweet and sour. And no curry sauce.I call them up and instead of trying to please the customer, and probably skeptical that it's not someone wanting free food, they explain to me that I have what I ordered and I'm trying to say theat it is not what I asked for over the phone. I complete my order in which I have to return the chicken portion, pay for the resry of my order, all in good time mind but IT WAS JUST SO FRUSTRATING FEELING LIKE I WAS IN THE WRONG FOR THE PERSON TAKING THE ODER GETTIGG IT ALL WRONG. I WOULD HAVE APPRECIATED YOU NOT HAVING THE ORDACITY TO TAKE THE WRONG ORDER BACK AND THEN CHARGING ME MORE FOR WHAT I ASKED FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE. So I ate half cold food and half hot. Thankyou to the delivery driver who was very helpful, 2 portions were really nice but the curry sauce was somehow BLAND AND TOO Peppery. Would not rate for customer service, not understanding enough and too interested in them being right.
