Seaqueen Fisheries in Mansfield

Beautiful fish, crispy batter. Cheesy chips, had nice strong cheese on it. Lovely gravy and curry sauce. Ordering for pick up made it very easy.

Having passed by on several occasions I decided to try them today.Asking for 2 large fish and one portion of chips I was taken to the point of cardiac arrest with a charge of £19.20 !!!!The fish was nice but hardly what could be described as large and the portion of chips was stingy.I'll definitely pass by in future.

This used to be my go too chippy, but the level of food quality has definitely slipped over the last 6 months. Had a mixed meat and chips and the donner was dry and shrivelled up and the chicken was mainly burnt dry bits and both tasted like they had been sat there all afternoon. The prices keep going up as well, For £8.40 for a small mixed meat and chips it needs to be a lot better and a hell of a lot fresher! The staff are pretty much all kids that seem to be training every time you go in. The only good thing I have to say is that the chips them selves was nice. The meat went in the bin. Such a shame, used to be a nice chippy

What an absolute treat! Had a tray of mixed kebab and chips. Chicken is full of flavour and cooked perfectly! The donner meat tastes fantastic!! Can’t wait to come back again!

Great service and very nice staff. Been twice now and both times got haddock and chips, very very tasty. Very nice curry sauce too.

Had a chip cob here for lunch today and it was dreadful !!The chips was hard and felt like they had been double cooked , probably left over from last night because they certainly wasn't freshly done for lunch time opening.The cob was stale with hardly and butter on it , won't be visiting this chip shop again as today lunch went in the bin 👎👎

Always good fish and chips from here, we use it often. Can be a bit of a wait but that's the price of having freshly cooked fish. Prices gone up quite a bit in the last 12 months but not surprising, given all that's gone on with covid and Brexit. There are cheaper ways of getting a takeaway but good fish and chips are worth paying for. Good portions, a small fish each is enough for us and portions of chips very generous.

Normally lovely food but standards seem to have slipped. disappointing

Not impressed! My fish is so hard I have to throw it in the bin. It use to be a really nice chippy but it’s gone down hill. Don’t think I’ll be going back again! 2 bad ones on the trot now

I had fish, chips and mushy peas... it was possibly the worst chippy meal I've ever had .. and at nearly £10 with a can of pop it wasn't cheap..the fish was so small ... I don't know how big the mini fish is but it must be tiny...the chips were hard and dry and the peas had no flavour.. the only saving grace was the can of pop.. Never and I mean never going there again..
