Each time when we have come here as a couple or a family meal. Jonty the manager and his staff are very friendly and the service very good. The meals we have had all different dishes between us have always been well presented and very tasty. The prices are really good too. Its a very friendly place.

Rage of different beers inc some hand pumped, which sorts me and my partner likes the white wine. Food is simple but the large beef, chicken, bacon burger without the bun is good

Quite low quality with some questionable food. The owner is lovely, however the staff seem to lack any knowledge of what they are doing...One server came to the table and said "I have a turkey and a beef" but then asked us which one was which...For the price, the food was adequate... Except the fish was a bit questionable. Drinks were cheap (cocktails were questionable) but the beer was decent.

Went for Xmas Dinner, while a little slow between courses the food was tasty. The staff was helpful and friendly. Nice well kept cask ale See you next Christmas

Went for Xmas day lunch ….. first time we had ever done that and booked it well in advance as we were looking forward to it! What a disappointment…..waited well over an hr for our starters!!! Then another half hr for them to clear the plates away!!! Bought all the mains out and left the kids til last!!! A 5 yr old and a 1 yr old, that happened with desserts aswell! Food not up to much really not worth the money we paid even tho they gave us 10% off! And there was 10 of us…..we will never go again!!!!!! Spoilt my Xmas day 😩

It was a very quiet evening when we visited so couldn't really quage the atmosphere. The landlord was pleasant and friendly and the food was very good, a nice family evening.

Had a fantastic big breakfast here on 4/9/21. Absolutely delicious, piping hot and lots of it! One of the best breakfasts I've ever had dining out. Get yourselves here!

A long overdue review. Great service and friendly staff. Never been disappointed with a meal or drink here. Can't wait to go again.
