Totally hit and miss here. We've eaten from the same menu on different occasions and osmrtimes it's wonderful and others it's awful. Sadly the last time it was not good.We ate from the lunchtime set menu and it was just so sad and pathetic. The ploughman's lunch was very lacking in anything. The Wiltshire ham and eggs was extremely greasy and the steak my husband had was very very fatty. Its a shame as the staff are lovely and the atmosphere is great but food is meh

Nice relaxed atmosphere, guy behind the bar was friendly and a nice character. Food was nice apart from the burger being greasy but to be expected I guess. The cheese garlic ciabatta bread was phenomenal 😋👌🏻

Visited Foxglove many times, but it had been a while and this time we had a two year old in tow. The place was relatively quiet, which is always a bonus in our books as we prefer it that way and we managed to be situated at the far end in a booth which was nice. The menu had changed a bit, and I decided to opt for something I'd not had there before which was the Chilli Con Carne. My partner had the Pulled Pork Burger and my son had the Cheese and Tomato Tagliatelle from the kids menu.My dish was delicious and is something I would definitely order again. My partners burger was a bit greasy in the top where they had placed two onion rings and the bacon in the middle he said could have been a bit more well done as it was still relatively pink. However, other than that we both enjoyed our meals. We also ordered a side of Hallumi Fries and Cheesy Garlic Ciabatta.Staff were all welcoming and friendly, as usual - particularly the young lad behind the bar serving drinks. When my partner complained about his bacon, the server just responded with "Oh sorry, is that everything?" and then walked away which I didn't feel was sincere but alas, it was just bacon I suppose.Always lovely food and atmosphere though, and everything comes well presented.

We enjoy coming to this pub, the staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly, especially Tyler! The reason I haven't given a higher rating is because I am both vegan and gluten-free and there was nothing on the main course menu that I could eat (there are vegan options and gluten-free options, but nothing that is both). We will happily come back for a drink but will not be coming back to eat, which is a shame 😞

You are always greeted at the desk by a friendly member of the team and shown swiftly to your table. Covid issues are still in place, but are discrete and applicable and not "obvious" which is a joy to see.Service is always slick but you never feel rushed or pressured. Its just a lovely place to "be" right now.The food is exactly as described, and the portions are very generous. The hot drinks are also wonderful at the end of the meal.

We went for a late lunch, the service was brilliant, I was cold after we had been for a walk, so I joked with the young man behind the bar if they would sit us near a radiator, they did one better and sat us near a fire and switched it on for me. The food portions were generous and the chicken fell off the bone.we had the taster puddings, as I thought my husband and I could share and again the portions were a great size, a friendly team and throughly worth the money.

Came across this place looking for a pub lunch with the family. Went with the fixed price 3 course meal and was very impressed with the meal and the portion sizes. Family had a great time with friendly staff and great atmosphere.

Staff very efficient & offered good customer service. Food was delicious. Daughter particularly loved the Korean chicken burger & my Sunday roast was lovely. Only one downside was that it was really really hot in there! Otherwise a very enjoyable meal out. Thank you.

Been meaning to dine here for a while now. All I can say, I wished I dined here years ago. The food is absolutely fantastic. Cooked to perfection. I rate this place. 5 STARS from me.
