Top class place. Wonderful accommodation, lovely food, very friendly attentive staff. Great location in lovely Kent countryside.

Best accommodation we have stayed in for a long while. Exceptionally clean, fabulous facilities. Well worth a visit. Not keen on having breakfast in the room and the choice was poor. I felt it is expensive for what it was. Would be nice to offer preserves to have with the toast and a different choice of eggs rather than just scrambled.

Incredibly inconsiderate manager/ staff on the phone.When I followed up an email with a phone call to confirm a booking on a Sunday for 12 pax (because it’s not possible online).. the manager said “have you emailed already? We’ll get back to you tomorrow. We’ve got a business to run.”I explained that I’d emailed 12 hours earlier and hadn’t heard back. I wanted to confirm a reservation for a family get together… so I could organise something else if this wasn’t possible and I was calling from overseas. He said “yeah we have a business to run. We’ll call you another day…” extraordinary customer service…

We spent 2 peaceful days here. The location is beautiful, the service impeccable and the food delicious.The rooms are finished to a high standard and individually decorated. I loved the bespoke wooden touches throughout.Breakfast is delivered to your room in a hamper each morning and you can eat it looking out over the beautiful Kentish countryside from the table on the mezzanine.The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We ate in the restaurant both nights, once from the specials board and the other was from the more traditional "pub grub" menu. Each night the food was very well cooked, presented beautifully and very tasty.I would definitely stay here again

Had a lovely stay at the Plough Inn. Fantastic and top quality accommodation, lovely staff who were friendly and have a great sense of humour and delicious food including a flippin' good burger! Can only highly recommend a visit to the Plough Inn. :0)

We visited The Plough during the Easter holidays for lunch on a Saturday - we hadn’t planned where to go and booked last minute so did not know what to expect.First impressions from the outside were good - the building is beautiful and the atmosphere inside is cosy and traditional - we sat inside the old inglnook fireplace which we loved!The food was outstanding - the specials menu is diverse and there were several options we could have gone for. The beetroot and apple pancake on the starters and the rhubarb frangipane dessert were particularly good.Service was fantastic - the owner took the time to come and check on us several times and engage in conversation, the chef bought the food out to us and personally explained what we were having.Overall one of the best pubs we have both ever been to and we will without a doubt be back!

Delicious food andfriendly staff, but make sure to book in advance! Halfway around a fairly lengthy walking trail, we came across The Plough Inn. It was a Sunday and we thought we'd try to get a roast. Unfortunately, it's a very popular place and there was no space available, however, they did let us sit in the bar. After a little while, the staff made our day by squeezing us in for a delicious roast before another booking! The food was amazing (loved the cauliflower cheese) and the staff were super friendly. Definitely recommend!

My partner and I stayed at the Plough Inn for a one night getaway on a Saturday night. It is a lovely rural pub full of charm, nicely presented, and very friendly staff.We went for dinner and were very impressed. The food is fantastic with options like pigeon, veil, and steak.The accomodation was also excellent. A large double bed, bathroom with bath and shower, and mezzanine level area with sofa, table, and TV. The room is finished to a very high standard and was a real treat. We got the breakfast as well which arrived in the morning in a lovely hamper, and everything was superbly done.We would happily go back there for a quiet night or two in the future.

My husband and I stayed here a couple of weeks ago for two nights and my goodness what a lovely place! The pub is your perfect countryside local - open fires, fantastic landlord & landlady and great staff plus super-friendly locals. What we didn’t quite expect was the first class food. It was amazing and I’m not surprised they’re in the Michelin guide but they deserve a star!! We ate dinner here one night and had different breakfast on our two mornings - everything was perfectly cooked, fresh, local and delicious. The rooms were fabulous. Immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and maintained to such a high standard, we couldn’t find fault (and trust me we’re picky). We would not hesitate in recommending a stay here, definitely hope to go back soon. Oh and the area is rather lovely too!
