Just a lovely pub for a quiet pint.

Dead as a door nail - no suprise though. No phone usage at all - not even texting and forcefully enforced 😳 No music and no atmosphere.Won't be returning.

Nice place good beer bit expensive though shame about the atmosphere no TV's no music can't use your phones no swearing rule that's probably why not too many people get in Shame!!! Sure it would do better if it was livened up somewhat!

A bit rough around the edges and could do with a bit of a spruce up but what it lacks in finery it makes up for in honest ales, friendly and helpful staff and amazing prices! The pub has a policy of no mobile devices and they ask that you rely on old fashioned conversation whilst you drink - once you get used to it it's quite refreshing. They also have a pool table and a small outside space at the back. The toilets are one step up from the ones in Trainspotting and generally, along with the decor is why I have to mark it a four. It could be a dive or it could be great, it's somewhere in between.

I've had to post this after I left due to the no mobile and tablets with in think is amazing a real old fashioned pub with no food tvs or screaming kids. A little rough round the edges but £2.30 a pint you can't go wrong

Good quality beers at a great price. This pub used to have a reputation of serving poor beer but now sam Smith's have taken it over and its a great pint.It's gradually getting busier as more and more people hear the beer is better.Only drawback is because it's Sam Smith's there no music.....which some people don't like. Personally I don't care!
