White Gates Hotel in Mansfield

Went for a walk and went on the back area of pub as had my son and children are not allowed in the pub, used to love this place but its not been the same for a long time. Its ok for a quick local drink.

Must be the only pub u can't use your phone

If you want a nice quite drink where you can talk then this is the place for you

For such a community pub i think the the price increases arent warranted. Double the price for half the amount when the prices to buy from sam smiths hasnt increased...how can that be? I wont be paying over £5.50 for half a pint! A shame as enjoyed a couple as we were passing but out of principle will now go elsewhere.

So much more could be done with this pub. Interior is nice but it's like a church. No music, no phones allowed. If you like a quiet drink this is for you

Nice pub but could be a gold mine with the right owners. Huge field out back, big games room, lovely lounge side. Owned by Sam Smith's, so no entertainment (apart from pool, darts & snooker and only their beers available. I want to buy it and turn it into the best pub in Mansfield!

Brilliant staff that are very friendly and approachable, cheap beer that tastes quality, pool table and a snooker table, two dart boards with club darts and electronic counters. Recently got a new manager that's made the place a lot better to visit, definitely would recommend a visit.

It's a lovely little old-school pub, with snooker table and pool table. They serve food to which I've heard good things, not had the food myself however. They don't however have a radio or TV for sports and entertainment, the beer Is cheap and excellent quality.
