Widecombe Fair in Mansfield

Amazing pub! Absolutely love the atmosphere! Staff always friendly. Food incredible! Good sized portions and always hot. Highly recommended.

First time visitor and will definitely be returning. Popped in on the off chance they had a table available as didn't have a booking, all staff was extremely polite and welcoming.Our waitress, Christy, was a pleasure. Very friendly and polite, and clearly a great member of your team. All staff were very prompt and were just always there at the right time.The food itself was fabulous and for this reason alone I'll be returning. Worth the money you pay, and the carvery seems all home made.

Went to the Widecombe Fair, Had a family meal. The food was delicious, There was a good grill selection to choose from. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. Service was also great as I find every time.

Had my boyfriends birthday party here last night. Have been in several times as a couple and really enjoy the atmosphere and the food. We had a party of 20+ and all the staff were warm welcoming and helpful. Guests arrived at different times, which wasn’t a problem for the staff, they kept checking on us and provided table and bar service depending on customer preference. Ordering meals was seamless and staff were able to provide allergen information in the form of an altered menu for our Auntie. With 4 family’s involved we had multiple tabs and easily hundred drinks ordered, but staff were always professional and on hand if we needed anything. A great night had by all. Thank you

I came here at breakfast with my mum for the new brunch menu and it was fantastic. I had the bacon pancakes and my mum had the bacon chiabata and we both left with empty plates.The service was fast and the food was amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

I blacklisted this pub after several terrible meals. However, the tables have turned, and things seemed to have improved alot. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the food was quick to come out and was cooked as requested. Can't fault them.2* to a 5*

Lovely pub, friendly staff. Food seems to change standards of cooked meals with each visit. I lovely fish and chips 1 visit then same meal again another time the fish was all batter not much fish inside also over cooked.

Absolutely fabulous meal, chef deserves a pay rise. The ambience & all the staff were friendly & professional, really felt welcomed & like we're regulars, even though it was our 1st visit. The pub was very clean, including the toilets. Ample parking & plenty of room in the pub itself, so you wasn't sat on top of each other, lovely high ceilings with a pleasant decor. Will definitely be back. Thankyou

Really nice to be able to get back to Widecombe Fair after lockdown restrictions have been lifted. Food and service still great 👍 the pub itself is clean and tidy and Covid safety in place. Enjoy the food every time. Thanks 😊
