"It's great to be back! Thank you for your ongoing support over the last year. A few things to consider before you visit: Booking is not essential, though we would recommend you book in advance. Outdoor service is limited to guests in groups of six or two households (no limit on number) is permitted. Please note we may need to vary our opening hours and food service times given the time of year and the unpredictable nature of our Great British weather! Track and trace requirements have changed meaning all guests over 16 years of age must check in and provide their contact details. Unfortunately we must refuse service if guests do not comply. Never had a bad meal.. we tend to go if we want something quick and simple.. friendly staff and very accommodating.. play area at the rear for children also

The beer is good Mansfield by Marstons is pretty good. Food is competitively priced from standard Marstons menu. I had pie was acceptable but slightly overcooked. Great for a quick reasonably priced meal.

We recently had a wake for a parent that sadly passed away. I cant speak highly enough on the service provided by all the staff. The food was excellent and even provided boxes so the left over food could be taken home. The bar staff were so professional and even brought the drinks to us at the table. I would definitely recommend using this place for any function. Thanks again to all the staff on such a good job 👏

Called in on a Friday night after a meal. First time in the area. Staff were welcoming. Good selection of drinks and prices are good. Will return to try the food. Good sized pub with conservatory and beer garden.
