Anne of Cleves in Melton

Quite a nice little place. With inside and outside seating. Very friendly staff. But I feel the food is a little over priced for what you get. Also as a plain Jane with food there was not much option for me to choose from as everything has added flavours in so not really my kind of thing. My friend really likes the food here though and has been a few times now.

Delicious food perfectly executed and very accommodating staff. One of our table asked for a dish not on the menu which the chef very kindly made. Good selection of drinks (especially gins!) Parking is really tight but there is a pay and display next door

Beautiful ye olde type pub with a large garden at the rear. Good quality, value for money food and great drinks selection. Staff were so helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend that you visit this place.

Excellent staff, very welcoming, dog friendly, food amazing what more could you ask for, visited twice in last week, both times service was excellent. The staff are a credit to the Anne of Cleves, would highly recommend to anyone who visits Melton Mowbray.

We visited here with my parents as they've moved up from Sussex and they said we had to visit this pub. The service was good and polite, the food delicious (if you're Veggie/vegan I can highly recommend the falafel burger) and the dog was given a warm welcome. I would've like to have had a wander around the pub but my parents wanted to leave after having their meal so I didn't get the chance.Will definitely be returning when I'm next up!

A great night at the Anne of Cleaves - the food was absolutely spot on. We were a table of four split between meat eaters and vegetarians, we ordered beef brisket, sea bream, vegan wellington and a cajun chicken burger which were all quality, the chef is definitely a credit to the pub. A good selection of beers and wines which was great - keep it local you won't be disappointed!

We visited at lunch time on a public holiday. There was no food being served, so we just had a drink & moved on. Service was friendly. Very little atmosphere as the pub was nearly empty.

Absolutely fantastic little find. Staff incredibly accommodating. Food was spot on! Would recommend to anyone travelling thru the area! Lovely stuff. Proper British pub.

We went for Sunday lunch. The roast beef was amazing, lots of veg and meat; a good generous portion which I struggled to finish. Would definitely back.

Lovely old building. Good food. The ploughman's and the mussels were excellent. Good ales as well. staff friendly and efficient. Would definitely come back.
