Costa Coffee in Melton

Had a coffee with a new acquaintance today.

My mum order a coffee. The assistant asked she had scanned the qr code. Mum said no she had a old mobile phone. Mum was refused a drink. She has been going for years like me. NOT NO MORE! ps other people in the same situation were allowed.

Can be a little busy as it’s only a small Costa but the staff are always quick to server everyone. Great food and drink, always clean and not too expensive here. Also it’s right in the middle of town so easy to pop in for a quick cuppa.

Been this morning as we are currently staying in a country lodge and wandered into town. The staff where the politest we have encountered at Costa in a long time. I’d like to say the biggest thanks to the member of staff that swapped our Coconut Latte for a De-caff version due to pregnancy. Wish I knew your name, but you deserved this recognition.

I went in today with a double pushchair at about 10.30. There was a lovely Barista working at that time, she was so helpful, she bought my tray over and fetched a high chair, and generally made me feel welcome! Thank you.

Food and drink was fine but the staff left a disabled guy outside waiting (eventually for my friends and I to notice and let him in) because he couldn't reach the door open button from his wheel chair. Not good enough service on a very quiet Sunday afternoon.

No crockery cups available, just take out cups. 1/2 of store "chaired off" so not in use. Of the remainder, 2 tables in use. The other 6-7 tables had dirty cups / litter on them. I had to clear my own table.

Popped in with my two kids. They loved the selection of juices and smoothies. I had a lovely hot chocolate and we all enjoyed a cake each. Very nice and friendly staff

Always a good cup of coffee, staff and management always friendly! Good atmosphere. Busy on market days as it's located pretty much in the middle of it, but they seem to cope well.
