Flying Childers in Melton

Bridget although she was taking orders she acknowledged us straight away with a smile and a nod. Within minutes we were sat at our table with menus. We had the 3 course specials which we couldn't fault... we eat out everyday and I have to say, it was an excellent experience 👌Please say a huge thank you to Bridget...Every company should have a Bridget.

An excellent pub and restaurant, friendly staff and table service. Lovely variety of meals, starters and desserts. Some meal deals such as special steak nights with wine thrown in. Lovely atmosphere with nice wooden gazebo outside and pleasant seating with tables - also on lawn. Ample parking. Smart, clean loos. Reasonable prices for lovely tasty food. Nice kids' menu. Good selection of drinks at the bar including tea, coffee, latte etc... Nice classy pub and restautant with stylish decor. Good for family meals or couples or just dining alone. Never a disappointed trip - Always a satisfying visit! One of Melton's special places....

Is a very nice place. It was clean and the staff were friendly. They do have a lunch time offer but as I am quite a picky eater I was unable to order from this menu. It does have a broad range though. Overall I was happy.

Located on the Melton to Leicester road with plenty of parking and a couple of disabled spaces. Inside the seating is on various levels but they managed to accommodated us on a table with no steps for my mother in law. This was early afternoon and it wasn't over busy so if you are coming at a busy time I'd suggest you book if you have access issues. It's a Marston's rotisserie venue so if you've visited one before its standard stuff but none the worse for that. There's a very limited burger menu but the two we had were fine and the small plate gammon was nice and good value. Overall a pleasant experience.

Brilliant service, we were met at the door and quickly escorted to our table by a lovely woman who was very friendly. The food was amazing! The best meal out I’ve had in ages, definitely recommend going here you won’t regret it.

Enjoyed a lovely lunchtime meal, ordered the ploughman's and one of the chicken main meals. Great service and not too busy. Food was well presented and good quality.Hope to visit again soon.

I loved this place for many years, but there has been some changes, we went for a family meal tonight the service was okay but slow, the salads had brown edges and the bowls of coleslaw were all dried out on the tops, the rest of our meals were edible. We were told everyone complaints but they have to use what is sent to them and no longer able to make their own coleslaw!
