Really good pint of Doombar so had some more! The fish was thinner than most others I've had (could be cutting size down rather than raising price) but very greasy batter. The chips however were plentiful. Altogether a very pleasant experience. Walked back again next day from Sysonby campsite.

When your car goes in for a service and MOT, and it fails, and work needs to be done - nothing helps pass the time after wasting time pacing around town in the morning waiting for an update than a cheeky afternoon trip to a local 'spoons. Grab some decent real ales (£2.10 real ale festival on!), cheap food and people watch the people of Melton...The section I was in was suddenly filled with end of term students from the nearby college who soon drowned out the local couples and oldie groups with their effing and jeffing, so it turned into potty mouth student watching, which isn't nearly as fun.Great beer though, quick service, 'as your expect' food at a 'spoons - so recommended to waste a few hours. Have to try the evening experience next, or the breakfast pint-a-thon if I'm in town early enough... See how it compares to the morning queues in the Corby 'spoons...

Get what you pay for food wise. Microwave food tastes half decent. Nice and cheap. Female manager is rude and treats you asking for the disabled/baby changing room key as an inconvenience then command's her staff to do it rather than asks nicely. Says a lot about a person when they speak down to their staff. Hence the 4 stars

The coffee machines weren't working properly and the staff didn't adhere to the customization of the orders so we were a bit gutted. Both mugs we got were chipped too, but the staff happily exchanged them for us. The food was hot and tasty and the service was fairly fast so overall 4 stars.

Went here with my wife and 14 year old. Not expecting too much as it is " a Wetherspoons". We all had meal and wow, fantastic meal, we all enjoyed. Best of all less than £25 for 3 meals and drinks. Definitely going back there.

Love this pub one of the best spoons I've been to. Bit of a trek to visit but has good parking opposite and a lovely little park opposite as well. Food and drink spot on very clean unlike some spoons

It's a Weatherspoons, not much more to say really. Standard million mile march for the toilets, standard food, good prices. What you expect from a 'Spoons.

Short visit for a coffe during town sightseeing. Pretty busy place at lunch time.

Stopped here on a journey home for Sunday lunch. The placed was packed, which is always a good sign. The food is good, with plenty of choice on the menu and all at a good price. You can order your food on an app, so no queueing but with the option to order at the bar.Staff are friendly and helpful. Help yourself to condiments located in several areas and also a self service for teas and coffees with free refills. What is not to like!
