Lovely staff, really friendly and chatty. Food well presented, delicious. We sat in the street only down side previous people had smoked and dropped all their cigarette ends on the floor.Disgusting habits as well as littering.Recommended to friends will defo be back.

Good location to sit outside on a sunny day, the menu is a bit busy for such a small place but plenty of pork pie options. Nigel is very friendly but service was slow and the tables too small for 4 people. Pork pie with black pudding recommended but the baked potato was a bit soggy and the skin not crispy like it should be. Kitchen upstairs was chaotic and smelly.

Amazing Welcome on a Rainy Sunday. The pie platter was beyond expectations and the staff were extremely friendly, Even the kids sat good as there was so much to see inside - This will be our 1st port of call next time we visit Melton

This is a lovely cafe with a good atmosphere. Plenty of seating inside and out. There is a large choice of food and drink and you can buy the famous Pork pies from here! Nigel the owner is very welcoming and has a great sense of humour. The cafe is always full of regular visitors. Will definitely be back in the future!

Quaint cozy little place, the menu is sizeable and good value.A nice selection of pork pies from a number of suppliers gives a good pork pie experience which is a must when visiting Melton Mowbray. The cafe is dog friendly and has free WiFi. The only reason I haven't given a 4 or 5 star review is because for all its positives it could do with a good clean. Some of the cutlery was alittle dirty and my latte glass had a bit of muck on the side of it.Overall really good just check your cutlery and utensils

Nigel is fab and serves good coffee, tea and a lovely-looking selection of cakes and scones. We had the pork pie platter and were stuffed! Tasty pork pie, scrummy local Stilton cheese, off the bone, fresh ham, nice selection of pickles, big wedges of gorgeous local bread and a lovely fresh salad. Other meals looked just as good, with generous portions. Nice options for vegetarians, also. Plenty of tables, over 3 floors and outside seating too. Check out the loos... worth a visit, to make you giggle. Thanks Nigel!
