Montero Lounge in Melton

Overpriced for what we got.Lounge eggs with hollandaise ; eggs overcooked and very stingy with hollandaise (however asked for extra after it was served and they brought me a dish with 4 times more than originally got)Big lounge breakfast was OK but £2 for added avocado when you only get half of one is very steep.Veggie breakfast was good though.

Absolutely rubbish. I have been to this lounge and had a great Fish Finger sandwich, it has been spot on. Today I had the same but it consisted of 3 bits of fish finger birds eye style, fingers, two small bits of bread and a very little bit of coleslaw. All for £8.25.wont be going back.

Visited yesterday evening with my husband. Ordered via the app and service was very prompt. Food was fab and the cocktails were lovely. Busy, lively place with friendly staff! Would definitely recommend!

Lovely waitress and very nice roof terrace but really disappointed with our food and drinks. We paid £38 for some tapas which was ok but nothing like the menu suggested, the bravas sauce was plain passata, no beef in the chilli (we almost forgot what dish we had ordered only worked out by eliminating other dishes) and really greasy fritters. Also incredibly weak Long Island ice tea, tasted like watery Coke Zero. Felt like we had been ripped off and ruined our day tbh 😩

Great place, discovered by chance. The staff were lovely and took great care with my order for gluten free as I have Coeliac. So good we're going again tomorrow.

Absolutely humiliated...supposedly dog friendly unless your dog makes any noise! My dog was having a moan as he does to announce he's in the building. I did my best calm him down. The manager then came up to me after my other half had left the table to go the loo, basically telling me that my dog was being too loud and would i like to go upstairs. My dog has short legs so we try not to take him upstairs so as not to cause arythritis and the only table available was by these stairs when we arrived. Made to feel that my dog was not welcome if he continued. The manager was loud as other customers had heard and they, as dog owners were not happy with the managers dealing with the situation. Was so humilated was in tears. Ended up leaving before we had had much of our drinks and asked for a refund which we ask for and got. Ended up going the anchor inn where we have had a completely different positive reaction to my dog.

Went last night for tapas. It was absolutely delicious. More importantly it was gluten free. The care taken by management and staff to deliver gf food is the best I've ever seen. The whole staff were friendly, kind and efficient. I would give 6 stars if I could. In fact it was so good we returned for brunch this morning. Superb.

It's a lovely place! I love to go there with my toddler! They have a child area indoors with toys, really lovely. Staff is lovely and food is nice as well! Highly recommended!

Cocktails are gorgeous. We had a little too much to drink and forgot to take pictures of the food. The staff were so lovely and friendly and attentive! Would definitely come back again. It is dog friendly which was wonderful for us.

Much needed addition for Melton with great brunch. Dog friendly too. Just missing a Virgin Mary as no tomato juice anymore.
