A quaint and fashionable cafe in the heart of Melton' itself. Popular with pleasant and helpful staff. Toilets. Outdoor seating in hot weather. A lovely variety of snacks - fancy sandwiches, cakes and a decent cup of coffee! You won't be disappointed. A cafe that is a Melton treasure! We all love going there!

Our 1st visit to this establishment, with Husband Daughter & 2 small Grandchildren, at Lunctime today. Service was atrocious. I didn't wish for a Savoury Meal, so ordered a Pavlova, to hopefully be asked if I would like it to be served with the Savoury dishes ordered for the rest of the Family. The Savoury Meals were served but no sign of my Pavlova. Despite asking a Member of Staff for it, who basically spent more time chatting to each other, 45mins later, I still had not received it and at that point I had actually gone past it. My Daughter also asked for a glass of tap water, that also wasn't received by the end of our visit. The Manager (not sure if she is the owner), came to our table & probably assuming we were about to complain about the food - we wasn't, except for my non-existant Pavlova - did not deal with such a simple order. Working in consumer relations i found her extremely unprofessional, bordering on lack of ability to understand our issues. Would not go there again, they all need serious training in Customer Service.

This is THE place for cake. My dad and I visit here most 2-3 times a month. The staff are very friendly, they have great coffee and homemade cakes full of flavor and big in portions. (Sausage baps can't go a miss either).

Great quality food and coffee and service is above plus very clean cafe so a real pleasure to stop and have a bite to eat there.

The coffee is always the best in town, the bruschetta with goats cheese is amazing, and the cakes are delicious. Thoroughly deserves the awards it gets.

We went to this cafe while we were in the area, I've only given it 3 stars as all we had was coffee and a fruit scone. I didn't feel I knew enough about the place to give it a 4, nor did I think it was a 2 star. Perhaps it would have been better if I hadn't marked them at all.

Lovely coffee place, great food. My boyfriend had a "Melton plate" which he very much enjoyed and is particularly good value for money. Ample selection of sandwiches/toasties/paninis at a reasonable price. Very friendly staff, highly recommended.
