Oriental Kitchens in Melton

Terrible attitude. Really should not be in hospitality business.

Seeing as we are staying in Wooler, we thought we would give the Oriental Kitchen a go. I had the Kung pao chicken with fried rice and my wife had the chicken in batter with sweet and sour sauce with chips. We both agreed that it was as good as what we would have at home. Portion sizes were a good size. We would recommend this takeaway if you fancy a Chinese takeaway.

Lovely food and great customer service. Prices are really good too and you get a decent sized portion.

Not as bad as some reviews make out. Price OK Spare ribs good and two other mains came with rice, all very edible.

Come here at least once a week (pre ordered) , we've been coming here for the last 3 and a half years, no problems at all. The owner even goes out of the way to cater for my wife's food allergies.

Fried rice and curry sauce both completely tasteless and bland! Curry sauce was watery. My husband had chicken black bean, which was also average and full of garlic. Was it not for the fact we were both starving, we would have not bothered eating any of it. Just a very poor meal all round.

Not bad, I've definitely had worse. You dont get a lot of meat and the little meat you do get is mostly overcooked. But it is the only Chinese take away for miles and quit out in the sticks. Not bad when your staying at riverside country park as a one off.

Absolutely excellent food from this friendly and well established take away.Excellent prawn curry for the daughter,My wife loved her chilli and black bean dish which was recommended by the assistant.My house special hot chilli was spectacular- and rather hotter than expected - lol!Beautifully cooked and presented food.Thank you!

The menu is far too busy. It was hard to choose from. The food was ok apart from the chow mein which was very dry, clumped together and the beef was chewy. Chips were over cooked but still edible. Maybe it was an off day.

We had a fantastic veg curry and stir fried veg last night. Best we have tasted! very fresh. . First time we have visited- we will return and highly recommend. Nice friendly owner too.
