Pauls Restaurant &The Wine Lounge in Melton

First time at this restaurant. It was a bit of a surprise how many dining areas there were. The bit of salad that came with the starter had been pre prepared and was all dried up. Sally had the lamb and was given one small piece. Over the top price for a bottle of NZ sauvignon that was very acidic. Having said that I don't think it would stop us going again.

Party of 6 people 1 of whom is vegetarian and we all thoroughly enjoyed all 3 courses superb food and service

This was our first time visiting Paul's and we will definitely go back when we have another day to celebrate.Service was spot on, the surroundings were lovely, staff very pleasant and attentive.The food was absolutely delicious, I had blade of beef and my partner had belly pork and they were both beautifully cooked and delicious. The desserts were delicious too and a good sized portion.All in all we had a lovely evening and couldn't fault anything.

Lovely restaurant and meets all expectations for setting, service and ambience. Good choice on the menu for all diets. Value for money, but felt that they were more traditional 'safe' dishes that didn't offer a new experience. This may re-assure some diners before booking but not meet expectations of others.

Fantastic friendly service and really lovely food.Starters around £8, mains £16-23, Desert around £7.Business has reduced the number of tables due to covid-19 and have deployed plenty of sanitising stations.Only downside, as we left there were loads of youths in the outside area who were not socially distancing and we had to walk through them to leave the premises.
