Lovely country pub. Still looks and feels like a real pub as opposed to a 'pubstautant' which so many have become. Good selection of beers and decent food. Friendly service too.

An excellent pub that I felt at home in, as soon as I walked through the door!!We were brought here for lunch by friends who live locally and I was very impressed by the good range of beer available, the extensive lunchtime menu and the quality of service provided to our party of four.The beer proved superb and, when it came, the food was excellent!!Only seeing our friends occasionally, we lingered over lunch, feeling relaxed and happy with everything here at The Blue Bell. There's plenty of parking and a large garden outside, with good views over the local countryside.All in all, a really enjoyable lunch!! Thanks to everyone at The Blue Bell in Hoby!! We'll be back!

A new discovery for us. What a lovely place. Great food at reasonable prices. Friendly efficient service. Nice, comfortable atmosphere. Would recommend

Excellent food and good service if a little slow. Good atmosphere and happy staff.

Excellent pub grub, friendly service, and with our dog tucked under the table a perfect lunchtime break. Plenty of real ale choices, I had the titanic stout, it went down very well. When we asked what the difference was between the large and small main course portion choices we were told sticky toffee pudding. Even gave our dog a treat. We will certainly visit again, that's if we can get in, very popular.

Had an excellent meal at the Blue Bell Inn last night, a beautifully cooked lamb shank and mash with veg dish, followed by chocolate cheese cake with ice cream. Will definitely be returning soon

The food was amazing, so good to see small portions as well as normal, the beer was lovely and the staff very attentive and friendly, really live going there.

Good food but management fails continuously let what could be a lovely pub down.A booking was taken for an agreed time, only on arrival were we told the kitchen was closing in 5mins. Food was good but ruined by being told last orders were being taken as bar was closing as soon as we had finished. No apology was given by staff or management or explanation as to why booking was taken in the first place.Unless management changes I would recommend any considering a meal to book elsewhere

Lovely pub. Good menu, great food and service. Everard's beers. What's not to love? Excellent.
