Another nice little countryside pub I like to frequent whenever possible. Decent menu, good beer, friendly welcome. Nice atmosphere/place to sit & enjoy a pint whether inside or outside.

Little pricey for a pub but the food was amazing! The staff were very lovely, and attentive, even after we asked to move tables. The chef was fantastic, he was kind enough to make a garlic bread for my young (slightly food fussy) niece dispite it not being on the menu (it should be because it tasted great). Will definitely go again if given the chance

Must say that the Sunday dinners was a bit of a disappointment. Tinned whole carrots and they charged Rob a quid for a small jug of extra gravy.... Coloured my view with this pub...might have a chat with another dear pals if we should reconsider alternatives in two weeks time as we've booked this pub....

Good bar with a great menu and service. Lots of parking and very well kept grounds.

We love coming for pie night at The Cheney Arms on a Wednesday and have been regulars for several years. You often need to book a few weeks in advance to get in which shows how good the pies are! You pre-order the pie you want when you book and it is served promptly by friendly staff. Plenty of beers to choose from too. This week was our first visit this year and the steak pie wasn't quite as good, something about the gravy wasn't as rich and flavorful. It won't stop us from coming back though.

Chose to stay here as it was the nearest B&B to a party we attended. Totally pleasantly surprised. Its a top notch pub and B&B. Every thing about it is the best you could expect, from towels to the in room tea bags and down to the toilet paper (honestly). Our hosts were warm and helpful. The breakfast was really good too, with locally sourced foods. Wish we could have stayed and tried the Sunday lunch. The hosts have worked their way through dire Covid times and fully deserve success having not compromised on standards. Well done.

We recently had Sunday lunch here and it was fantastic. We received a warm welcome and the service was prompt and polite. The food was superb and everyone in our party enjoyed it very much. Thank you for a great experience and we will return very soon. Highly recommended.
