It was okay the food was nice, staff attentive. My pet hate is the table being cleared when people some people in the group are still eating, this happened

Nice pub friendly staff manager/owner seemed friendly decent atmosphere restaurant seating area is nice the separate bar next to that is spacious with dart board pool table few outdoor benches, yet to try the food but sounds and looks good overall a pleasant pub for a decent day/night out.

Arrived on the 12th feb around 5 45 pm for an evening meal to be told there only taking bookings, there were plenty of tables and just a few reserved, people were still getting there food brought out who hadn't booked either. There should have been a big sign on the door saying bookings only cus then we wouldn't of gone in.

Great pub, great food and pool and darts, what more could you ask for!

Mobile 4G doesn't work inside there is a mobile mast right outside so forced to use there WiFi cloud but you can't log onto it as the IP address is not visible and router needs rebooting but noone knew how to do this. Step out side in beer garden and back on full mobile network 4G /5G available.

Great local pub, you can appreciate the hard work the new owners have put in. It's not a gastro pub, but it serves reasonably priced, hearty meals for the whole family, in a nice atmosphere with friendly staff. And a good selection of drinks. And a good sized car park.A nice treat, without breaking the bank, and just on our doorstep, get down there and support our local businesses

The pub appeared to have fallen on hard times on the occasion of our last visit a few weeks ago, but now seems to be improving rapidly following a change of management. There was a definite 'buzz' about the place and it is clearly once again very much a community centered estate pub offering good grub at a very reasonable price. Recommended - if we don't use our local pubs, we risk losing them!

It has changed a lot... the staff are friendly and the food is absolutely gorgeous and served warm. I really enjoyed my Steak. It may be a little expensive but heck.. it's worth it! I'll definitely be going there again sometime soon - Very Impressed - Keep It Up! 😊

came for meal on Sunday and was delighted. booked a table for 7 . Very quiet and food really well cooked and tasty. mixed grills . chicken and various others. lovely lady who was on bar. enjoyed so much came for mum's birthday breakfast on Monday. Different staff nice again and great price. More should support it. Thanks folks will be back when in the area again .
