The Cutting Room in Melton

My friend had been once before and said it was nice. I ordered the double coated chicken burger with the mac and cheese and chips, reasonable price but they hadn't put the mac and cheese on, I am diabetic and needed to eat but she had to take my plate back to the kitchen. The chicken burgers were thin and very greasy I could only eat half of it, along with the taste of the bbq sauce which was a very strange taste was not very nice. The chips were ok but I would describe them as fries rather than chips. They also didn't send out the salad with the mac and cheese main we ordered so had to wait for that, the beef burger was OK to my friend but she also did not like the bbq sauce. There was also one of the staff members walking around with a hammer hammering a couple of the table numbers back in, which in my opinion should be done when no one is eating in. The lady was friendly though who dealt with our food.

Very poor service at the bar! Staff have no common sense or any idea who is next in line to be served. Visited last night and staff were like headless chickens serving and it wasnt even busy but when i have been stood waiting and a group come in behind me and get served then thats extremely poor service. Staff are really not on it enough here.

Poor management. Order drinks through the app and was then told they were closing. Informed them that I had order and they said they would refund it. About half an hour after I left I had a notification to say the payment had been accepted. 5 days later no refund so I rang and they said they would sort it. This was 2 weeks go. They had absolutely no intention of doing anything to refund the money!

Just had an absolute belter of a double plant based burger with a perfect Korean BBQ, Spring Onion and Mango topping, and delicious fries. All washed down with a pint of Doom Bar. Couldn't fault it.

Have been here a few times and ordered a lasagne and it's been delicious. Third time ordered again and it wasn't the same. There was no meat in the lasagne it was like one of those really cheap ones you can buy, it was basically just pasta and cheese really. I asked one of the staff if it had been changed and he told me it had. Can you not change it back ?? What a shame as we really like this place too

James in the Melton Mowbray branch is amazing and he is the reason we keep coming back. James is very friendly and he will even sit with you when ordering your food. He is a great asset to your company. Thank you

it's a nice spacious pub atmosphere good. just a little shocked that charging 4.65 for bier morreti as it's more than my partner charges in her pub in kent but overall good place.
