The Dairy Barn Cafe (Ferneley's Ice cream) in Melton

Delicious ice cream with a great range of flavours and amazing coffee. Really friendly staff that are very helpful and attentive. I can't wait to go back. This is our favourite place to get ice cream now! 10/10

Brilliant, stayed here overnight large flat carpark for motorhome, lovely place lovely people, highly recommend especially breakfast and homemade icecream. We filled the freezer up😋😁

Amazing ice cream, plenty of different flavours and lovely seating areas both in and outside. Covered Play barn and an additional 2 play areas outside and then there is the crazy golf!.Fantastic countryside views whilst sitting and enjoying your ice cream.In the car park there is also a milk vending machine with a selection of flavours you can add.

A nice place to go with younger kids, they have an tunnel full of toys, sandpit and a bigger climbing frame for older children. The outside area is nice but indoor the cafe area it reminded me of my old school cantine.Service was slow but that may have been because they were busier than usual. Food was okay except my bread was hard as if it had been sat for a few hours and upon ordering there was no mention that there was no cress left so the waitress ended up coming back to our table three times. We also ordered syrup in our coffee and this was also not added in so had to moan about that as well.Overall an okay place to go but service and communication need improving.

A lovely time spent here, would highly recommend. Excellent service and the ice cream is out of this world. Very clean and perfect for letting the children run wild with play area, sandpit, mini golf and toddler play area. I'd give more than five ⭐ if I could.

Great ice cream made on the farm from their own cows. Lovely helpful staff, and you can watch the ice cream being made. The farmer loves talking about the cows and the ice cream making. Great place for kids

Ladies that dine out called here on Monday, very impressed large outdoor seating area as well as indoor, play area for children plus a crazy golf course and plenty of parking. Good views of the open countryside. On getting out of car there was a building where you could buy your own fresh milk. We both decided to have breakfast roll as needed to leave room for one of the delicious 😋 homemade 🍦oh and was there a lot to choose from I now know why my sister in law enjoys visiting here. It was certainly well worth our drive from Grantham.

Great place to visit. Lovely staff. Great views and a lovely quiet country location. You can pour your own fresh milk. The ice cream is a dessert lovers dream and most importantly its dog friendly. A must visit or pit stop.
