It's just a nice pub, pure and simple

Friendly local pub. Four of us visited for Sunday lunch with a baby and they were very accommodating and friendly. Food was very good also!

Food good. Staff and clients freindly. Nice spacious interior. Plenty of outdoor seating as well. Has its own piano to play in the restaurant area. My son plays background music for the clients sometimes at the weekend usually Saturday afternoon. Come and join us and enjoy.

Excellent Sunday lunch - attentive staff -brilliant menu and drinks - would highly recommend this cosy friendly village pub/restaurant .., we will definitely return - thanks to all the staff and great owners x

Drove out today to enjoy a end of week pint. Been here many times before and always enjoyed good service and a nice welcome. But today we waited in line for a table only to be turned away because we "hadn't booked". The people behind us in the que obviously knew the landlord and were told " I'm not sure we have room at the inn for you". But after turning us away they gave a table to them! We'd literally just had time to get into the car and turn it round before we noticed them outside (it was outside seating only).Feel really let down. Like a friend has shown you the door for no reason.

Stayed for one night as was attending a wedding. Place was spotless and tidy and the meals were excellent; all made on site, as I am vegetarian I felt well catered for and plenty to chose from. Breakfast was really good and the eggs served in individual pans was unique. Would stay again.
