The Stilton Cheese Inn in Melton

A hidden gem of the country. The menu is vast and all delicious I highly recommend closing your eyes and choosing blindly because everything on the menu is perfect. The salad dressing (a close kept family secret) is truly one of a kind and very very beautiful. It's hearty food, full of flavour in a local pub Vibe. You would be foolish to give this place a miss.

Lovely old pub, great ales, wonderful menu. Nice atmosphere. Wil definitely visit again.

Cosy pub with a calm atmosphere in a beautiful location. The food was extremely well made and presented, not to mention very tasty. Friendly staff who didn't hesitate to tell me about the family-run business and the history of the building.

Really nice food, can recommend the duck. Lovely old country pub atmosphere, fire on and nice and snug.

Fabulous food, friendly staff, cosy atmosphere and reasonable prices. Highly recomend you try this lovely little pub.

Recently had a Covid safe family gathering. Hosts very accommodating, very good food and the venue has a true English pub feel. First rate, thanks

A real English Ale HouseMade very welcomeExplained we were visiting as my husband's mother had been evacuated there during the WarWe were loaned a book of memories about the village, by the owner we were very touchedThere were references to the EvacueesGreat Food couldn't manage a dessert..But they sounded lovelyLovely log fire

Lovely traditional English country village pub, friendly and welcoming. We had the Sunday roast dinner for our evening meal. The beef was lovely. Cheese and biscuits and a glass of port to follow. What more could you ask for... oh, the Oakham cosmic jellyfish. Bliss!

Lovely family run pub, always go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Varied menu delicious homemade food. The drinks, beer and cider are good to. My favourite pub 💖

Lovely place, very cozy. The food was excellent and staff very friendly as was the pub cat. Would recommend for a intimate meal for 2 on a cold winters evening.
