Such a lovely place. Free parking. Lovely cafe with friendly people. Lovely shops on site. The grounds are immaculate with a play area for kids and a lovely wooded walk. The old windmill is interesting to see and go up in, the views from each level are stunning.Definatly a place worth a visit.

Loved this quirky windmill, very informative..there are lots of steps, you can stay in the ground floor of you have accessibility concerns... the grounds are kept well ...the children loved the play area and there is plenty of parking and seats outside where you can eat or drink...

Did an outside broadcasts from there for 103 The Eye radio station. Only had coffee & cake as we were interviewing owner, workers & clients. Nice atmosphere and great service.

There is a lovely relaxing atmosphere here. The staff are are friendly and helpful and the food is delicious. We especially enjoyed the cream teas. It is great to learn the history of the windmill, to read about the restoration work and see how the local children have been engaged to help provide a pleasant experience for looking around this historic building and nearby woodland.

Fantastic cafe. Very spacious, great service and extensive menu. Sausage and bacon sandwiches are lovely and the scampi delicious. And then there's the bonus of a really rustic and well-preserved windmill. Highly recommended.

Visited here today with my daughter for lunch which was lovely, food excellent served by friendly staff. Good parking plus I noticed there was a play area for children. Plenty of room to enable you to eat outside but as it was cooler today we decided to dine in.

Great place, great wibe ok food. I've stopped by an accident and was pleasantly surprised! There was loads of classic bikes, cyclist, families with kids, classic cars & it's in the middle of nowhere! I needed a break, i needed some food and a drink and that's exactly what I got. The place is developing and it's always a good sign, staff are super helpful and well organized, food arrived in minutes and even though it was a no thrills baguette, the bacon was premium grade. Tad expensive for your everyday coffee stop but definitely worth a trip out for a treat.

Amazing place to go too. Has a lovely garden area with many tables dotted around it (tables all social distanced). Nice children's play area . In the building next to the windmill, you will find a little cafe , a bike shop, and a store. Overall it is stunning .

Lovely old windmill with views over the village and surrounding countryside - if you are ok with very steep steps it is worth going up to the top of the windmill! - and tea Room which is open until 5pm.

Lovely place, very child friendly, (except for the clothing and gift shop) Cakes were delicious, good friendly service. They are trying to raise funds for a new play area which is much needed. The old one is very tired. The ride ons in the ride on area are nearly all broken and desperately need replacing. Despite this and a very grumpy shop keeper my daughter had a great time. We climbed up the windmill and went for an adventure through the little forest (lots of stinging nettles wear long sleeves and keep little legs covered) I would recommend.
