All Mine Cakes by the Lake in Newark and Sherwood

Lovely place and i have been excited to go to this place for some time, realy nice sitting overlooking the pond and the sound of water added to the ambiance of the place. But all the waiting was for nothing. £11 for a veggie breakfast is amongst the most dearest of breakfasts I've had but when you saw what you got for your money the disappointment on my face said it all. That being said the wife had pancake with diffrent topping and very generous portions for the price. I'm not giving up just yet and will be trying once more. The staff where very good well spoken and very cheerful

The best ploughman's lunch I've ever eaten! And I've had a few. Had a Mediterranean twist to it with olives and roasted peppers alongside the fresh ham and beef and selection of cheeses and lightly toated bread and pickles... everything on the menu was tempting and as the cheerful prompt service staff brought out the selected dishes to other customers it all looked tasty and nicely presented.. Will definitely be back to try more .

I love this place! I found out recently that I have a gluten intolerancy and have found it quite anxiety inducing to eat out. To know I could order anything and I mean anything from the menu safely made me so so happy! The food was also really delicious and we took cakes home! It's the best gluten free food we've had if you didn't know you'd think it was just the normal version.Also beautiful setting next to a tranquil lake! Highly recommended for anyone 😊

Lovely lunch sat outside in the sunshine. Service was quick and very good. Halloumi with chilli jam was tasty. Cakes very nice. Big selection. This place is an unhidden gem.

What a beautiful, stunning place. A gorgeous, gorgeous view of the lake with coffee and cake a plenty. It's a bit out of the way and the gravel in the car park and outdoor space can be annoying but these are minor inconveniences for what is an otherwise wonderful place to sit, drink coffee and enjoy the surrounding nature.

They stopped me feeding my baby because the food I brought in contained gluten. They need to tell customers in advance of this restriction.Sure they were polite and offered me gluten free alternative but the thing is:- my baby does not have gluten intolerance and I'm not feeding her food we've not prepared with ingredients unknown to me.- even aeroplanes don't have "gluten zero tolerance". This is massive overstep for a cafe.- Why only gluten banned? What about my baby's milk containing lactose: is my baby's milk banned too? If not, why not? I'm allergic dog hair and pollen. They were not banned either. Why not?- if they explained their food was gluten free I would not have come.

A nice teashop & very busy. I had emailed to book a table but was told that bookings weren't accepted on Thursday but if we arrived about 11.30 there wouldn't be a problem. As it was we had to wait for a table to be free but only a few minutes.We both had the English breakfast which was good but I requested that the egg yolks be firm not runny & they were too soft for my friend.

Amazing little find, staff are super friendly and helpful, felt completely COVID safe. Amazing hot chocolate, saved my cake till later, will definitely be back.

This was an amazing meal. Taste, and texture beautifully balanced into an amazingly crafted dish. All provided with swift friendly service. They're even dog friendly, a huge bonus with the lovely walks nearby.

Very efficiently managed by the most friendly staff. We were greeted by a very cheery store assistant at the door. There's a "one in one out" policy in operation at the store to ensure that the premises are COVID safe. After consulting the menu outside, orders are taken inside and there's one directional flow to reduce contact points. There is an abundance of delectable items on the menu ranging from Rasberry Crisp Brownies to Honeycomb Ice-Cream and Yorkshire tea. The ice cream and the tea were absolutely satisfactory. The service time was quite long but worth the wait.
