Bengal Spice in Newark and Sherwood

I normally really enjoy food from this establishment. However the recent vegetarian curry I ordered had a bone in it. Very disappointing. Hope they do something to stop this from happening again in future.

1st time ordering i was very disappointed, the food was late, the order was wrong and the portion of the curry was only half full, as the order was wrong i was unable to eat the rice so only had a small portion of curry on it own, paid £16 for that and was very disappointing. The lady on the phone was nice but all in all i wouldn't recommend.

2nd time visiting, this time to celebrate my partner's 65th birthday. Food is delicious and service is good. Would recommend

So tasty and lots off it. I had the dinner box there was plenty there for us and delicious 😋 and the delivery driver was so nice and friendly thanks Ellie regards Morag

This is the second time we have used this Indian takeaway, I would like to thank the chef for a wonderful vegetarian methi lovely flavours. Meals were huge or at least my family struggled to eat it all, so good portions, next time I will ask for rice to be less on my meal!!.🤪 Thank you again for a lovely meal.

Called in for takeaway whilst staying on a nearby campsite. The restaurant was spotless, staff were friendly. Food was really good, was still super hot when we got back to site. Will call in for food again when next at the campsite.

Only thing that let's it down is the lack of drinks as they either don't have it or run out. Food was excellent as per and H always on hand for advice

Usually always a lovely meal from this place. Only problem is I would say don't order too late at night

Had a takeaway from here. Lady on the phone was very friendly and got our fairly large order spot on. Absolutely amazing lots of flavours done bengali style just the way i like it. Highly recommended.
