"It's great to be back! Thank you for your ongoing support over the last year. A few things to consider before you visit: Booking is not essential, though we would recommend you book in advance. Outdoor service is limited to guests in groups of six or two households (no limit on number) is permitted. Please note we may need to vary our opening hours and food service times given the time of year and the unpredictable nature of our Great British weather! Track and trace requirements have changed meaning all guests over 16 years of age must check in and provide their contact details. Unfortunately we must refuse service if guests do not comply. Went today with my friend for dinner. Lovely outdoor area, amazing food and really friendly staff, the young lad bringing the food out was brilliant qnd very friendly. Definitely come again 🙂

Classic Pub with an amazing view, beer garden, friendly staff and regular customers. Decent events and beer prices, a lovely place to visit in the village with lot's of history.

Traditional style pub with a great setting overlooking the fields at the back. Generally a local crowd during my only 2 visits there. No real complaints about the food the Sunday dinner seemed home cooked, with a reasonable amount on the plate. Overall prices ate pretty much the same as most, I think it was less than £8 for a Sunday dinner. It's a bit off the beaten track for most, hence more for locals, worth a visit for a quiet drink if passing, or just to stare out the window and not just be looking at the cars or people passing by. Recommended.

Been here twice and enjoyed it tremendously both times. First time was xmas 2021 and then yesterday after work with some work mates. We had chip cobs and a drink. The chip cobs were really nice. Staff are very friendly and helpful and service is tops. Looking forward to my next visit. A*** 👍😊

The Bird is back, Alive un kicking. Sam is a fantastic Landlady, Staff are great. Happy un friendly. Curry weds, lovely grub. Cheap too. Highly recommend. Food. Entertainment and a good laugh. Everything the village was lacking when the old Pubs were pulled down.

The pub is not really fully functioning at present. Staff who are there are friendly. No food, No hot drinks all waiting for new Landlords to take over..watch this space. Photos are from the pub garden.
