Best Chinese ever we won't eat at any other Chinese even tho we have move over an hour away we still drive to this amazing place to get our Chinese, the best food is amazing honey ribs are one ting to try 😋

Two weeks ago had a takeaway from China garden. The food was delicious, and piping hot.i rang the order through and was greeted with a friendly voice. On collection the staff were very helpful and I can recommend this takeaway.

I used to travel a 12 mile round trip for food from this place, happy memories a LOT of years ago driving here on a weekend night to collect amazing food, the old Chinese gentleman doing his exercises behind the counter after taking your order 🤣. I've not used this place for 10+ years - I discovered Indian food around that time! Anyhoo, myself and my teenage daughter now live very close by and fancied Chinese take away so decided to try China Garden again - we've had so many bad Chinese meals in Newark that we had stopped ordering at all. I'm happy to say that nothing has changed - China Garden still has that friendly family feel when collecting food, and the quality of the dishes is still as good as I remember. We are very fussy when it comes to Chinese food having had rubbish SO many times, so we were delighted to get a very good meal. We have been back twice since and again the food was fantastic. Sad that they are only open Sunday to Thursday til 2030hrs due to this pandemic as we love a meal on a Friday, but sure this will pass. China Garden are highly recommended

Wow! We’ve just moved to Newark. How can you get noodle soooo wrong! 😭 we had lamb with ginger and spring onion which was more like connective tissue in ginger soup! The beef chow mein was Sharwoods cooked at home with left over two slices of beef, no flavour in sight. Crispy chilli beef was beef wrapped in jelly. I’ve NEVER in my life put a takeaway in the bin, and that’s where it’s just gone. We’ve called for a sufficient takeaway because we’re still hungry.Holy moly how can you get it so wrong?

The best chinese in newark! My Family love the food. It's always fresh and tasty. They only take cash so visit the cash machine before collecting your chinese.

Our local Chinese takeaway, staff are always friendly and polite. No issues tweaking foods ie-no onions etc. Food is always hot. Very tasty. Reasonably priced. Great little place. Very clean too.
