Costa Coffee in Newark and Sherwood

Took a long time to get a basic order done, people behind me in the cue got there orders before, and I go to the upstairs seating as downstairs was full and find there's some kind of large noisy women's meeting group there.... only came for a bit of peace and quiet... won't be returning again....

While I've had more better drinks with COSTA then STARBUCKS, I have to say I was left disappointed in this one where the music upstairs coming out of the speakers was very fuzzy sounding.For the drink I ordered I'm shocked that the stuff don't know what's wrong when they forget to put something on the drink that should be there like sprinkles.They did look surprised when I asked if I could have the sprinkles on the drink.I have to say the NEW COSTA COFFEE opposite M&S is much more inviting as are the staff.The staff there know how to greet customers and laugh with them unlike the serious faces in this one.

If I could give it zero stars, I would.Was queuing for almost 10 minutes and there were only 3 people in front of me and probably another 6, at least behind me.Unfriendly staff.No coconut milk.Iced tea was Luke warm.

No brown sugar for over a month. Realise Supply maybe an issue but not that tricky. Tables damaged from Covid stickers. Lot of Staff change in one fell swoop. They don’t seem happy. Prices higher to quell a free coffee in 8 is turning me away. Sorry

Called in for coffee and toast stood 15 mins to get served even with 4 staff on .Finally ordered .had to wait ages for it then first come toast then after more time my drink by which time my toast was cold and hard .Worst costa ive been in very very slow

Would have been 5 star? But at 12.15pm, would have expected more sandwiches available.

From time to time I visit this Costa and mostly order hot chocolate. Costa's hot chocolate got unique taste. Last time I tried their seasonal hot beverage. Blackforest Hot Chocolate with Cream. Also recommend their aromatic flat white coffee and Gingerbread Latte with Cream

This Large Costa store in Newark does have ground floor & upstairs seating areas which has been obviously reduced in table numbers due to the covid socially distancing rules ! ..Hand gel dispenser,floor distance markers & protection screens for counter staff are all in place .I called in 1st for a take away "Gingerbread " Latte & didn't have to wait very long, I returned later on in the day to stay inside in a group of 3..2 x teas,3x toast & once again gingerbread latte .Great pleasant service once again & the best made Costa Gingerbread latte around !

Visited Newark Saturday morning,service was good, coffee was spot on just what I needed after driving up from Derbyshire

Normally like coming here for a coffee but today was not pleased. My son had a frostino which was not made properly as you can tell by the lump of ice on the photo. My latte was made as an iced one when I asked for normal and I ordered a cake which I payed for which I was then not given.
