Fables Coffee House in Newark and Sherwood

Very Nice 👍 Café in the middle of Edwinstowe, found it by error looking for cark parking in the village on Google Maps. Very welcoming, staff we're great and helpful, great latte and cakes ☕🍰.We'll be Back 👍👍🚴🚴 and been back again twice while walking around Sherwood Forest 6.7.22👍👍

We had a lovely time at fables this afternoon the waitress was lovely, food was perfect, and cocktails were nice and fruity we will 100% be coming back 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Very nice place overall. Food was close to excellent. I'm not sure I would return soon because my budget couldn't stretch too often but it's nice as a one-off. Slight criticism would be too much sauce on the eggs benedict. Staff very friendly also.

Wonderful place, food and staff. The owners have done a superb job in a short space of time in making this cafe a must visit place even if you're not in the area, because the cakes are delicious.

Visited again and the place remains wonderful. We visit everytime we come to centre parcs. Can't be beaten for food and service and the cakes are divine.

Excellent service and the food was amazing. If you haven't been, it's a must. Five of us went and every one of us was thoroughly satisfied.

Looks such a lovely place, great food and drink options. Alas poor service. Arrived and was seated fairly quickly, given menus and then totally ignored. We were ready to order in minutes, appreciate it was busy but an acknowledgment from the waiter as he passed us multiple times to say he’d be with us soon, would have helped. One waitress clearing tables could have taken our order. No acknowledgement as we got up to leave and get our coats on. Customer service training for this situation would be an idea.

Elegant, friendly staff, home made food, lots of cakes. I would had sat outside too as it looked lovely inviting area but weather to cold at the moment.

My first visit situated in the heart of Edwinstowe on the High Street. Delightful place with great food and friendly efficient service. It was busy when we visited for lunch but we were still seated quickly. Ideal for coffee & cake or something more substantial. I will be back. Highly recommended.

Good lunch. We enjoyed a feta salad and salmon pasta. Nice flavours. Service was very good. It’s a really nice welcoming place. Good ‘clean’ measures in place. We will do cakes next time. They also have a range of treats, condiments & flour for sale. Busy and popular.
