·

Delightful cafe, good home cooked food, welcoming atmospher and it doesn't cost a fortune. A gem of a place.

·

A nice little bistro great food every time i come here, service good and all the staff are friendly. Not good if you are on a diet as the cakes seem to draw you to them.

·

The food was nice, however it was a slow service and the staff weren't particularly nice to us- not very apologetic and said we 'had to wait'. Nice cafe though with wide range of food options.

Our second visit to Feeling Peckish as we enjoyed our first visit so much. It looked like the local yobs had paid them a visit as well, the front door had taken a bit of a kicking. We both had a standard breakfast, which arrived quite quickly, it was as delicious as last time. There is a simple but extensive menu to choose from, they also have a range of home made cakes that looked fantastic.

What an experience, rude staff and average breakfast (paid less for a far better meal). Regular customers are treated much better. The butter had melted so we had to pour it onto our toast, when asked for replacement butter, got the impression that it was too much trouble. An uncomfortable breakfast, didn’t feel welcome. Take note, everyone has to go for their first time, make it a pleasurable experience and maybe they will end up as regulars. A bit of advice CRACK A SMILE you charge enough, we deserve it.

Great cafe opposite the castle gardens. Amazing breakfasts and very friendly service. Recommend a visit.
