What a delicious brunch- I recommend the gorgeous cheeky muffin. Proper quality cheese, sausage and egg. Fab service, chatty staff and the cafe is set in the most gorgeous location. It's even got a complimentary jar of treats for dogs. Such a gorgeous coffee shop

Not sure where good manners and customer care is anymore, very rude chef today, asked if we could possibly have a bacon cob as there was only 6 people outside , empty inside, and was told "No", not sorry we can't at this time, obviously customers are not important to you, we wont be returning. A shame as this used to be a great place where customers were important , beautiful place , but got nothing else I'm afraid.

Enjoyed a very pleasant lunch here with my friends. The cafe it's self is lovely and the surroundings are beautiful. Despite reading reviews to the contrary, I have to say the staff were warm, welcoming and very efficient. The food was delicious too. I would definitely recommend this place for a cuppa and cake or lunch. The menu is good and well priced.

Incredibly rude and slow! One customer ahead of me in queue who ordered a steak sandwich. I ordered two sausage sandwiches. Charged and not given a time indication and also with one customer ahead I figured ten mins tops. After 25 mins (I know this as I sent my wife a text once ordered) I asked how long. They said a couple of minutes. Five minutes later they said “we’ve put it on now for you”. I then asked for a refund as 30 + minutes is not acceptable for a sausage sarnie. I explained how long I had waited, the very rude lady said “you are wrong you haven’t been waiting that long”. I asked for a refund and this was refused! I’ve never experienced this sort of treatment in my life! The woman was unbelievably rude and I’m shocked I was treated this way to be honest. I think it’s against the law to refuse a refund so I’m going to speak to the council or trading standards as they may be ripping other people off. Never again! Such a shame as we live locally.

I came to this lovely cafe a couple of weeks ago for lunch with my mum. The food was delicious, staff were really friendly & helpful. The surroundings are beautiful & peaceful. We’ll definitely be visiting again!!

First visit for my friend + myself + sadly we won’t be visiting again!! Very disappointed with the service, very slow + staff very unhelpful + quite rude. We were not the only ones unsatisfied with the service as a lady we spoke to as we were leaving said the same about the service. 🙁
