McDonald's in Newark and Sherwood

Food & service are great but the car park is awful. The drive through goes around the perimeter of the building & the car park spaces are a single line around the outside of that. There is always a massive queue at busy times as you can't get to the parking spaces due to the drive through queue. We had pre-ordered through the app to avoid the queues but couldn't actually get to a collection space. Luckily I wasn't on my own so my passenger went in to collect the order whilst I was in the circuit to try & find a space.

Second time this week sat for 10min at drive through, then when get there they have no burgers and limited menu. A sign out side would be nice because we can all afford to burn fuel these days. Freezers obviously broke In the heat wave as 2 mobile units in car park. Burger place with no burgers amazing!

Not very good experience here this visit. I made the error of asking for what I would like instead of what they actually had. There was no milk shakes, cold drinks were warm and flat with no ice, food under cooked and had to be thrown away. Very disappointed and we won't be going back here soon. Now I know why my friends refuse to go

We visited twice in 1 day as we were on a day trip to mablethorpe and needed drinks and both times they got our order wrong, no one was cleaning tables either at about 5pm but it was very busy. Parking gets full and there's no path to walk the kids from a parking bay into the restaurant.

It's a simple transaction really. They gave me a quick fix Coffee for a quid in so n a drank it. Happy days. Or it could have been a mango smoothie. That is awesome.

The best thing i can say about this McDonalds is its stopped me using McDonalds and saved me a fortune each year.Only would get me back for a big tasty if i was eating inside (only)Take out is usually wrong,Not sure i have been in the last 10-12 times and had a order correct or something missing, save your time on a Grill as these will be wrong...(mostly)Service is usually poor too at drive through, this would be the first thing i worked on as i do believe staff who take pride will take pride in the service and preparation.Fries are always smaller portion i think they have a take out and a eat in size.i have a iron stomach as i travel for a living but last time i went they gave me 6 nuggets instead of 5 strips when i got pay window, this was changed upon request, but she wiped my full order, got a extra Coke as it was easier (was hard work) to take it to the next window (i did get a refund) BUT... Coke was warm,flat,and no ice (asked for ice) clearly been stood a while or gas needed changing.Fries were borderline soggy, and the strips were rubber in middle, and my double cheese burger was lathered in Sauce so i could not taste the patty.i had to throw in the bin, 4 and half strips and 90% of the fries and i ate the burger cos i was starving.... But as i said i cannot stomach the thought of ever eating one again yet.I be amazed if they ever get rid of the cooked food on time or the pre prepped food (if do this which is a guess as not alway warm)When eating in food and portions and orders usually much better.VERY slow service on the drive through.. cannot remember if its the same inside but i kinda remember it to be, it seems Just eat/Uber eats is their cash cow now so regular customers are neglected. (Same with most McDonalds now not just Newark.Anyway sorry for a negative post but its the truth as i know it to be,.

Absolutely a disgrace . Ordered by just eatLive 10 mins away. Stone cold burgers.They missed the fries out. Drink upside down poured out every where. No joy when phoned so nothing to eat tonight. Thank you scum mcdonalds.

Very poor, ordered online through App, drove through drive thru to collect - not working, need to go inside restaurant?! Went inside, 20 minute wait for food with no apology, and food rubbish too - plain cheeseburger clearly had seen pickle etc removed, thus the plain burger wasn’t really plain. Desperately poor experience for a McDonalds.

Ordered a double quarter pounder meal as take away and went and sat in the car. Opened the box and saw a tiny burger which was clearly an error. Took the wrong burger back in and it was promptly swapped to the correct burger but no offer of a free gift as compensation which I thought there should have been as by time I got to eat the rest of the food it was cold. Disappointed.

It was extremely busy, as it school hols; but they still managed to serve up top quality HOT food. I particularly enjoyed the special version of the chicken sandwich. Can't remember the name for it. Very tasty :)
