Newfield Dairy in Newark and Sherwood

Fabulous place to stop off for a treat. Ice creams were delicious, the banana was my favourite really flavourful. Seating indoors and outside with a lovely view over fields and hills. Staff were great. Large car park.

Unfortunately we were rather disappointed as a whole. We were a table of 5 all having a full English with the intention of having an ice-cream after. The breakfast was poor. Undercooked and disappointing considering the price. For 2 breakfasts and 2 coffees it cost me just under £30. It's a shame as we have heard good things however we won't be returning. I can't comment on the ice cream as we decided not to bother after the quality of breakfast.

Really enjoyed our trip here. The ice cream was very good, with lots of options to suit most tastes. Lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the open countryside scenery, and a decent kids park to entertain the young ones. Will definitely come back with family! Well worth the trip.

Fabulous icecream, brilliant weather, nice views. Dog friendly and kids play area. The queue was quite long but we expected that on such a lovely day. Girls behind the counter were efficient and polite. Lots of choice and nice and clean. Can't wait to go back!

Absolutely amazing ice cream. Including vegan options and vegan and gluten free cones! The menu looks lovely and we've already planned to go again. It's dog friendly and child friendly with a lovely little play area. Can't wait to go back both with kids and without kids.

Fabulous ice cream parlour in beautiful countryside setting.This place gets busy when the weather is nice so plan accordingly. Does a lovely selection of meals and has a lovely play area for kids. Great place to while away an afternoon with the kids.

Really nice ice cream. Creamy and sweet. The sorbet is also particularly delicious. The vegan ice cream is a new addition and really enjoyed the raspberry flavour.Had a banana ice cream milkshake and was disappointing. Was expecting a blended ice cream milkshake. Thick etc. But ended up with a glass of milk (maybe with banana flavour in it?) And a couple of scoops of ice cream in it... Not what I envisaged.Overall good ice cream, but I'd advise steering clear of the "special" sundaes etc. The basic ice creams are much better value and simply delicious!

Very good service with absolutely fantastic ice cream. For such a luxury the cues on warm days can be long. However the ice cream is worth the wait. A well deserved five stars and I must mention the friendly service, I would recommend this place for all.

Amazing place well worth the detour off the M1/A1. Obviously the ice cream is incredible, and the portions very generous. The cafe food is also great and to cap it off there is a lovely playground for the kids to blow off some steam! Plenty of parking, although it got pretty busy at lunchtime and it was a rainy day, I imagine on sunny days it is heaving.
