Old Post Office in Newark and Sherwood

Great for watching sport, good selection of beers and good on the pocket.....but the food was hit & miss with quite a few things not being available.

It was OK, staff freindly and efficient. Reasonable prices. Surprisingly quiet for a Friday night. But enjoyed visit

It's okay. Seen better days and the large corporate pub doesn't have the same appeal as a small, personal bar these days. The food is tasty though.

Quality pub, most people probably mistake it for a spoons but I don’t know how! Great freindly staff, quality food, spacious and very modern, very nice beer garden that keeps changing and getting better! Plus they know how to keep a pint! One of my go to pubs

Brilliant pub! Came in today 23/01/2022 just after opening for breakfast with a friend, I had a traditional breakfast and my friend had a breakfast wrap, must say it is one of the nicest breakfasts we have had for a while, bacon and eggs cooked perfectly and it was very enjoyable, will be returning in the future

Food reminds me of something you'd get at a bowling alley. The burgers and chips are cheap, nothing special. My missus had the lasagne and the very basic salad that came with it also included the date sticker mixed in. We ate on a Friday and the sticker said "Sat", so at least we knew the salad was in date I guess..

Enjoyable meal of fish and chips nicely cooked. Clean and spacious surroundings and always friendly team members. Thank-you.

My mum and I visited for lunch on Saturday after exploring Newark for the first time. When entering the pub, we were greeted and asked to scan in using the track and trace app. The pub was quite empty for a Saturday lunch time, but there was measurss in place to maintain social distancing which was one of the positives. We were both very disappointed with the food that came. My mum had a steak and ale pie with chips and peas, the small slice of pie that came as part of the meal didn't look appetising and was not worth the price paid. My meal was a bit better but it was rather box standard pub grub, needless to say we do not plan to visit again.
