Nice pub beer and cider not cheap compared 2 surrounding pubs. Food looked lovely didn't have anything though.

Great place. Good beer and staff were friendly. Shame it wasn't busier, you can see that the place would have a good atmosphere filled with people.

Great spot this is. Fantastic food, decent prices, chatty staff and quirky, old-school decor. All-round cracker of a pub!

The pub has a lot of character but unfortunately our sandwiches were very poor. The meals looked better.

Nice clean facilities and a nice atmosphere, but I found that the member of staff that served me was a bit grumpy and not very polite, when I asked politely if they accommodate for designated drivers, I was told no, when I asked what non alcoholic drinks do they do, I was told none, at this point my brother intervened and asked if I could have a pint of coca cola please? I was the designated driver in my group of friends to ensure that everyone got home safely and that there was no drink, driving incidents, I do not expect to be spoken to like that when I ask a polite and reasonable question.

Staff are amazing. Top notch food and the service was excellent. Highly recommended. Even if taking out. The staff bent over backwards for us and made sure everything was correct and suitable. Can't fault any of it at all.Food was great too, decent selection and filled us right up.

Walked in and we were greeted by a lovely, friendly and polite server who showed us to our table. We ordered our drinks and food. We were sat enjoying our drink when the server came back over and apologised about our wait which we said was fine but was lovely of her to let us know. Our food came and it was well worth the wait! I asked for more gravy and they happily obliged. When we were finished we walked down to the bar to pay where we were greeted with another friendly face. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes good food, locally sourced from local farms. We will be back

The food is very good and reasonably priced. They also have a vegan menu. The Thai vegan burger was delicious. Beautifully decorated, some of the old parts are still there and they have mismatched tables and chairs which creates an old /traditional atmosphere.

We ate in the small outside space which is sweet but marred by the fact that smokers are able to indulge there. Staff are friendly and the food delicious. My first thought was that the slow cooked pork belly was tiny but actually it was so rich that it was a good sized portion. I shared this with my daughter who had the prawn taco, lots of big juicy prawns. Not a cheap eat but worth it.

Excellent pub serving a great range of cask ales. Very interesting building and decor. Didn’t eat but food looked good and also offers takeaway pizzas that are made on the premises. Very dog friendly too.
