Robin Hood Plaice in Newark and Sherwood

They cancelled my uber eats order without even telling me. I was waiting almost an hour before calling them to be told they had no driver! They said they had no phone number for me BUT if they had googled my name and address they would have found a number immediately! That's the last (inflated price ) order they get from me!!

A wonderful chip shop with quality food and excellent service. Definite must place to visit.

Fishcake seemed cheap and peas had set. Had Asked for salt and vinegar but didn't get either. Had quite a wait for our order. Overall, food and experience, average.

Us lads go there a lot - staff are often very very rude to us. I’ve not been inside in months but the food was very nice, just on the expensive side.

Haddock was fresh and well cooked. Chips (fries for U.S.) and mushy peas (very good Nottinghamshire fare) . Enjoyed it very much.

Always had good fish and chips , but last night the chips was Anaemic and hard not cooked enough , can not afford to waste money on food that was not nice to eat ,❓

Ordered today. Will not use again. Very expensive chips were dry be and poor quality. That's why no one offers fish and chips for delivery.

What an amazing place , these guys are so helpful 😊 they even rang me and told me they had no pies so the owner put a few extra goodies in my bag and the delivery lady is so nice. Thankyou and I will continue using you even tho I have my own restaurant

Best fish n chips I've had in years. Fish, squid, scampi, battered sausage and chips all delicious and generous portions. This is probably the least greasiest chippy I've ever had, the packaging with greaseproof lined cardboard boxes definitely helps in this regard and still environmentally friendly. Everything was crispy, not saturated with oil and soggy.

Don’t use these much even though we live in the village, we heard they now have the gluten free option.decided on a mini fish meal, it was great, good value didn’t wait long all good..
