Southwell Garden Centre Tea Rooms in Newark and Sherwood

Had a lovely meal here and always lots to see in the Garden Centre. Staff always on hand for advice and are very helpful. Have previously had items delivered and cannot fault the service or plants.

Lovely garden centre, really obvious it's not part of a chain, very well looked after plants and feels welcoming. Didn't have anything from the cafe this time but have done in the past and it was lovely in there too. We'll worth a visit and will definitely be back when we're over that way.

Deceptively large selection of plants, pots and household decoration. A mix of great value and luxury items.

What a lovely place. Traditional Garden Centre and tea room with the exception of the passionate people and the quality of the tea room.Everything looks homemade and again made with passion.Seem to me they strive to Delight their customers.Will visit the area again very soon just for the cakes.

Very popular garden centre, apart from everything connected with the garden it's jam packed with lots of items, and well laid out. The cafe, opened from 9.00am daily with inside and outside seating is well worth a visit just to spoil yourself.

Not from Southwell my daughter is at Brackenhurst uni, while waiting for her to finish lambing she text me postcode of this garden centre at Southwell. Nice little garden centre. The cafe was nice, clean and the staff were lovely. They was very busy in the cafe so that alone must speak for how good their food is. I had cheese and tomato tostie and side salad and a cappuccino, it was lovely and hot. There was lots on the menu to choose from and a great cake selection. I will definitely be going again when I have to fetch daughter from uni.

We had a nice meal in the cafe.Picked up some nice bedding plants.They have a good range of goods for sale at reasonable prices.

I am really sorry to post this, but we went to the cafe here and it was not up to standard. The cakes were nice but the cafe looks so dated. The outside was a mess and to say it was the start of the 2022 season you would expect it to be in excellent condition. Not a place I would recommend.

This little gem of a garden centre is just a short walk out of Southwell. Its well stocked, easy to get to and the staff are very friendly, we always manage to find what we need and the price of the garden goods are reasonable. It has gifts too, but we go primarily for items for the garden.

Met with friends, although a table was booked it hadn't been reserved so we had a little wait, lots of cream teas being served etc. Fabulous choice of cakes/scones etc. Delicious homemade soup. Warm and comfortable. Didn't have much time to wander round the shopping area , but all looked great.
